Had Pocket Expense then it disappeared. Went to App Store to restore but found out issues with original app. Downloaded Pocket Expense 6 and Pocket Expense Pro. Neither work. Says sending email to set password but no email received. Don’t know what happened to original Pocket Expense app but the new apps don’t work on iPhone or iPad.
Duplicate issue!!!

Just like Redhead468 said. Duplicate items that were deleted would reoccur after sync. It’s the ONLY thing preventing me from rating this a 5. Please PLEASE fix.
Doesn’t sync transactions with iCloud!

I love Pocket Expense Pro and have used it successfully for years. It allows me to track my account balances, add transactions, transfer money between accounts, and schedule recurring transactions. The only thing it didn't do that I needed was to schedule a recurring transaction on the second Wednesday of the month, which is when I get paid. I have to enter that monthly, but otherwise, it has been a perfect app for years. That is, until I had to reinstall my phone's software and reload from my iCloud backup. This app has a slider to turn on automatic syncing, which I had on. When I restored it from the backup, it restored my accounts and their names and balances, but none of the transactions. Years of transaction history is just gone. I verified that synching was turned on, and no other options were missed. It is very deceptive when it shows that it's backed up, and I am very frustrated with the app. I am now searching for a replacement app that will actually sync with iCloud, and suggest you do the same. If you don't want or need to be backed up to the cloud, this is a 5-star app.

I’ve tried spreadsheets and many other apps out there for balancing my accounts and none has come close to Expense Pro. I purchased the full version awhile ago and left it unused until bills started to pile up. Expense Pro gives me control over my money and spending. And the app is always updated. Good job to the developers and the rest of the Expense Pro team. Follow up: This use to be my go to budget app and now it has completely let me down. The biggest issue I’m seeing is duplicate entries in my accounts. It really throws me off and has created some issues with my bank balances. I’ve sent feedback to the developers but no response. I rely on this app to keep me up to date with my balances but it has become very unreliable. I’ll update review once issue is resolved. Update 11/15/19 - After sending multiple emails to the developer regarding issue, I’ve only received the same response that it is being worked on and no other further updates or communication from dev. I am spending more time deleting duplicate entries created by this app than it is balancing my accounts. I’m using the paid version of this app and it used to work flawlessly until this year. It is frustrating cause it was a really good budget app when it was working. I think it’s time to delete and move on.

I’ve been using the app for 2 years and even purchased the pro plan but when the last update came out for some reason all of my data was deleted. I’ve tried to contact someone but was not successful in getting a solid answer or support from anyone. DO NOT depend on this app. I made the mistake and now just two months before the year end I’m without ALL my data for taxes. Extremely disappointed!!!!

Still nice to have an app where inputs are manual and not updated automatically. Making interface more user-friendly, like being able to change name (if not using Facebook), or interacting with friends who are on the app, or being able to make joint budgeting accounts would be nice, but overall, a great app.
Transactions Won’t Delete

I use this app daily, but a recent bug makes it so random transactions that I’ve deleted keep popping back up, making my balances inaccurate until I go back and delete them every few seconds.
