Pocket expense does not require you to link your financial accounts to this app. Apps that do can load your account balances and point out descrepancies, but if you passed high school Math, you don't need an app for that. I prefer to keep my private account balances private. The interface is intuitive and attractive. Regular credits and debits can be scheduled. Info can be views by Date, Graph, Category, or Report. Syncing is a minor challenge. DropBox no longer supports syncing, but the work-around is easy and fairly standard. For users who value financial privacy, Pocket Expense is a must-have app.

I have used a number of financial apps and this one has been the least intuitive. I think the layout and what it includes is nice, but very difficult to do things that should be simple. Confusing hope it gets better cause I like the look of the app.

This app was amazing but bugs and skews in my data overall messed up my finances. They haven't seemed to fix these and I am ultimately switching to a different app.

Good App But

The app does what it said it does. Once you get familiar with it it okay. The only down side is there is not bill reminder section that you can check off when you pay a bill. It has a bill section but not a bill you can check off when you pay you bill. The one this one has adds your bill to your day it's due and subtracts it from your app account even if you paid it early. Now it has taken it out two times and your balance is now off from your online account. I did send them a email asking if they were going to add a bill check off section and they quickly replied "no" and did state the have no intensions on doing it.

Great App Once Properly Setup

I've been using this application for awhile and it has helped me stay on top of my finances. It does have a few problems here and there that can be solved by restarting the app so no worries there. The account sync is excellent, and the reports are very useful. Would give it 5 stars once those minor problems are fixed
