When I was told about Pluto TV, I thought it was going to be just another tv tuner app. When I was convinced into getting it, it blew my mind! It has organized themed channels arranged in categorized blocks! And it captures so many of my interests, I find myself occasionally scrolling through the integrated guide to find all I like. The only downside is the placement and timing of commercials, which can even break into the show or movie in mid-word. I think they need to put them between movies or just after commercial intros in the recording. Other than that, it’s a dream app for those of all interests. I recommend this app. Highly.
Not what it used to be

I’ve had this app for a couple of years and it’s a great alternative to paid options such as traditional cable/satellite tv or streaming services like Hulu and Netflix. So knowing it’s free I can’t blame the creators of this app for the same 5 ads being shown over and over. They have to find a way to finance this app some way. My issues are that the content is not what it used to be. Most of the channels are filler and those that aren’t repeat the same 4-5 shows. This means that watching this on a everyday basic is not going to happen. The films tend to be older and indie. I have found a few that I like but most are not the best. MST3K and RiffTracks are great. To be honest the best channels out there. I know that there are channels that used to be on here such as hockey fights and also a NHL channel that showed old games and documentary. I am a huge hockey fan and I find it sad that these channels are gone. The sports channels need more variety. There is only so much football and basketball you can take. Let’s see some other sports like tennis and hockey. I also remember there being an opera channel. As I’m a big opera fan I find it sad that it’s gone. This was a great way to find classics and indie operas that no one is talking about. I want to see more variety and less filler. There have got to be “channels” that can be added. More content to be found. Something to make this app the awesome app that I know it is.

What a great service for cord cutters. I only wish they make an Xbox One app. Would be great to not have to use AirServer to watch on the big screen.

This is the best free TV app, lots of channels with different genres and easy navigation. Lots of on-demand movies as well. I am impressed.

I love this channel. I just wish I had learned about it sooner. Great offerings, including many I can’t find elsewhere.
