good but expensive

KL800

I like this game but it is extremely expensive i understand extinct plants are costing bucks but endangered plants should cost normal money and i think all golden tools should cost bucks and one tip would be to make a purchase and make everything cost normal money. also i have read reviews that say you must pay to win but you can cross breed plants by using other plant's pollin on a different plant

Don't bother!

Stupid fun!

The pc version is a great game! Unfortunately they have made even getting halfway though a matter of real money. Not like other freemium games this is absolutely demands you spend money to progress. Would totally play if this wasn't the case. Great game, wrong scheme.

Not worth it

I love this game on PC but this version is the absolute spawn of satan. You have to use real money for ingame currency. I would rather pay for the full version on iPad and unlock everything through effort than have it free and pay for ingame currency. If you want this game, get it on PC

Good Game

Jesus is the only light

This game is fun but there r a lot of stuff They NEED to work out

Needs one change

PRO- Play in the go version CON- Having to pay for have the stuff ruins the game... You can only beat about half the game without spending real money... If they would just have a banner with an ad they could make money... Not force you into buying stuff to beat the game

Eh...

Pretty disappointing that the developer chose to force the player into paying money to finish the game. And it's not even anything that carries over permanently - if I buy plant bucks, once used (or deleted, start over, etc.) they are gone. I've enjoyed several LDW games, purchased each of them on the iPad and never had an issue with gameplay, finishing the game, or starting it over. This is sad and makes me very glad I only invested a few hours play before coming to my senses.

Please stop

I really liked this game, I personally thought it was one of my favorites. I even went as far as paying for all the upgrades. But I digress, the reliance on in app purchases ruined the experience. coupled with the fact that all my money went to waste when the servers crashed and I lost my save progress. I want my 20$ back.

Plant Bucks

ApocalyseCougar

Edit: After some serious gameplay, I discovered that the higher selling plants barely reach maturity when they die, if they do. So, Like countless others, they try to make you buy. But note- Technically, you only have to spend a dollar mostly in what I have come across, but no one is gonna waste a dollar. Put up ad banners, or higher the price for plant buck stuff and make a video thing, but seriously, what a waste of time if you can't complete it without spending anything. Original review: This game would've been a lot more popular, if it wasn't for the fact there was plant bucks. It's not necessarily plant bucks in general, but the fact you have to buy them. The game would've been a lot better if, let's say you could trade 500 coins for 1 singular plant buck. That way the game isn't extremely hard to win without spending money.

I loved this game, and played it often. I got to a point in the game where you had to have "plant bucks" to complete the game. I searched and searched trying to figure out how to get them. I finally found out you have to buy them with real money! I looked on the app everywhere trying to at least discover how much they would cost me. After some more digging, I saw that the creators of this game removed plant bucks!!! Do not buy it is now literally impossible to beat!!

so sad

I actually still have the pc disc and I loved it ; but the iPad version is a rip off if you do spend a dollar here or there on plant bucks the game resets itself . you loose your progress which is frustrating and your money too. The final gotcha is that there is no way to contact the game company to let them know what is going on
