Needs some tweeking. The data blocks are large and obscure the viewfinder. If there are multiple aircraft, there's a stack of data blocks but you can't scroll through them all. Move very slowly, the refresh rate lags a little and it's easy to just slip right past an aircraft. I don't know if it was a bug or what but when I'm near LAX, I don't see any data. It's fun for single aircraft but takes some getting used to. I can see this technology 20 years in the future, being installed in the glass of air traffic control tower cabs and aircraft cockpits, as an aid to situational awareness.

I love this app. I use it a lot when I'm out on the deck or out fishing. I it's fun to think about the people on the flight and fill in the details based on the origin and destination. Not to mention it's got a wow factor that all my friends love and they too have don on to become users as well. Fun little app!

I don't see any reason this app should need to know my location even when I'm not using the app. This makes me think the app is more than it seems. Could it be spying on users?

The font is too small to read even with glasses. Would be nice to tap on data and pop out to a full screen details and maybe even a flight path map, lime flight aware, etc.

This app fulfills my inquisitive appetite to know the why's and what's. I live in a medium market (Knoxville) and I am close to several hub cities. Certain times of the day it gets quite busy. Growing up, I would look up in the sky and wonder where a plane was going and where from. Now, I have those questions answered at my fingertips! Also, I have the app for marine traffic. I am on the road over 200 days/year. Going into major markets, this app can keep the inquisitive geek in you happy for hours!

Looks like the developer has moved on, and I would suggest you do too. Better stuff out there now.

Could you make the boxes showing the flight information larger? It's so small it is hard to see.

I liked the previous version more than this version (9) ... the little area map in the corner is actually confusing ... and type of equipment now is missing most of the time. I'd like the option to turn it off the area map. Like others have said, the data blocks overlap, and there's no way to highlight a particular one. Nice concept, but not a great implementation.
