Hard. Challenging. Takes real skill to optimize your run, using tricks and items effectively. Equally good on phone or iPad. Just start playing and learn as you go. Wonderful in-line game.

I’ve been grinding away at this game for literally years. I finally beat it with a couple characters only recently, and I play video games quite often. So for a game to stump me for so long is an exciting challenge! Avoiding spoilers, I’m just going to say there’s a lot to unpack in this game, plenty of content that’s worth a couple of bucks. And expect to die... a lot.

Practically unwinnable

I’ve played this game for a long time, from back when it was Android-only. The current state of it is that the balance is so bad that it’s practically not worth playing. It used to be that I could manage to win once every ~30 games, but I’ve probably played 100 games in the last few months and only once have I been able to beat the second boss. Hardly anything has changed gameplay-wise, except for the durability changes. Sadly they are not well balanced. You will find a lot of weapons now, but you are not provided the tools necessary to make use of them. It is too dangerous to wield them, you are not given enough upgrade or remove curse scrolls to handle curses. But you are forced to do so in order to survive. Broken weapons will not cut it. There are other problems too but that’s the biggest one by far.

I finally beat this game! I feel so accomplished, but sad I hit the end too. This game was/is a really great pass time. If you like real challenges that take skill and a bit of luck then this game is for you! It’s a bit more difficult at first, but just take your time to learn it and PLEASE READ THE SIGNS, they have some pretty useful info on them. Such a great game overall and I hope the developers keep working on it!

I picked up this game wanting to scratch an itch for a dungeon crawler and this scratched it perfectly. I love the way it handles and the weapons, armor, and everything is awesome and is a challenge. But I have been wanting to see more, like new weapons or new spells and such more ranged weapons like bows for the arrows or exotic weapons like scimitars or stuff, great game overall but I would love an update or new stuff

It's difficulty feels manufactured

The game's content reminds me of AD&D and old school dungeon crawls that are basically machines to grind up characters. It was fun for a while to see how far I could get until I realized the deaths I was experiencing didn't feel earned like a more competently made game. When the first boss attacks can kill you with one hit, while it is impossible to kite him... I just feels cheap and like I died not from lack of practice or even rng. Just poor game design

Punishing, but that’s the Fun

This game is incredibly challenging. You will die over and over again, but that’s what makes this game so fun. You are forced to strategize, to learn from your mistakes, and keep pushing. My only complaint is that during the late night in real life, the dungeon becomes more difficult (you get the message “Be cautious, since the dungeon is even more dangerous at night!”). If I want to play late into the night, that’s my prerogative and I shouldn’t be punished for it. Otherwise, this game is so worth your money!
