Learning patience a death at a time

Pixel Dungeon is the best roguelike I've played on iOS. Excellent UI, great challenges, and true to Rogue and Nethack (and FTL) you will die 97 times out of 100. This is a game that rewards caution, learning, patience and optimization. And then you die anyway. It is quite good. Give it a spin.

Pixel dungeon is a highly polished, very approachable, faithful homage to bRogue, itself, a classic among the traditional RL's. Yes it is hard, but not until later levels does it feel extreme. Due to its procedural design, some playthoughs can be harder than others, but that keeps it fresh, and always requires careful considerate gameplay. There are some elements that can seem unfair initially, but that is the nature of traditional RL's, and that sense of eminent doom, makes for a more visceral, enjoyable experience. Classic!

This is a great rpg game especially for being free. It has a fun dnd feel to the game and also has a challenge to it as well

I am a huge fan of Rogue like games and just the fact this one is for iOS is great! But the gameplay is also good, but I could see lots of people quitting after a few deaths because you 100% restart! But I have to say it is a great game overall.

Every time I try to play and I press new game it goes straight to my home screen I wasted 3 dollars on this and it was all fur nothing

Could you give us a mode where the weapons and armor don't degrade! It was hard then, this is impossible.

Game crashes on start

So ive been playing this game for a while now and its challenging and muy bueno. However when I switched to the iPhone recently and downloaded it the game crashes after I press Start Game after selecting the character. Ples Fix dis soon

It's actually a very fun game until you get half way through level 2 and run out of food and start starving to death. Than you die and have to do the same exact thing again.
