The app works pretty well overall. There is a glaring omission in that you can’t *see* what the volume level is set at from within the app. You can change the volume, you just can’t see its value. That’s the biggest missing feature in the way of making this a fantastic “hidden” head unit solution. (mine is mounted in the trunk, on my amp rack) Please show me the volume level!!!!!

I would add another star if the app supported more sources (i.e. Amazon Prime Music). Not a bad app overall.

Just installed the deh-s5000bt in my 02 z71 custom truck as a replacement head unit for a custom pioneer amp and sub setup. Install was easy, repin connector and install. Works perfect with i8. Full control of everything, never need to touch head unit. This app is good, I can do everything from my phone, that I can do with head unit controls and with a better display. Hats off Pioneer!

Every time I open app. My music will show up in circle but once it starts playing there is “no information “ displayed and I cannot control my music. Please fix this.

This version of the app has issues even though both my vehicles are compatible with this app, both have Panasonic radios and both are stated that be compatible, but this app continuously says not connected! However it still works in both vehicle how ridiculous. So the indicator says not connected yet it’s connected. It looks really ridiculous in your car I would not suggest it until they work out the bugs.

I love this app very helpful and useful love the tuning options I just started with car stereos added subs I got the sound I needed for sure, one thing I really wish could be added is a way to update the fact it says iPod when I connect my iPhone over all that’s the only flaw I can see

If they could add on-screen clock display, Answer Call button, and volume number display. Other then that it works just fine.
