A rock solid app that is a joy to use. I’ve used every pinboard app out there and this beats them all by far. It’s fast to load and has great search functionality when I’m looking for previously saved links. The interface is great. I thought I had an issue with the privacy settings but the developer promptly set me straight. Highly recommended.

Wrote a prior review with one star. Developer responded to tell me my observations were wrong. Fair enough. So I gave it a second chance. I even upgraded to the paid version (you're welcome developer) to see if my exerience improved because I would really like Pinboard to be a useful (and efficient) tool. The developer responded again, noting that it takes time for the app to shine. I would agree. My experience is improving, and this app may turn out to be the thing that makes the whole pinboard experience better.

Update: many thanks to the developer for granting and extended trial. The app has really come along nicely and I’m thrilled that it also works on Mac (it is much better than the pinboard website). Happy to pay for the full version. —— Looks good but… I’ll update this review when I’ve had a chance to really evaluate the app, but that’s the problem: I’m struggling to do so because of the free mode limits. For example I bookmarked ONE item, attempted to edit that one’s metadata, and was told I couldn’t because I can save only once per 5 minutes. Save a thing and the making a note on it is the most basic thing I want to use the app for and try. Same when I try to add another bookmark… gotta wait a few minutes. I just think for folks to get a feel for the app and whether to upgrade, they have to be able to use it.
