Please fix Photo privacy access under iOS 14 update

MeowoeM TM

Pinger still hasn’t updated restrictions for photos under privacy. When I go in to select the photos I want pinger to see it’s a feature that is unavailable with the app. Also I selected no access to photos and everything in my photo gallery is still accessible. Please fix. Thank you.

Highly Recommend!

I would recommend this app to anyone! It does everything it says it will and more! I have used this app for years and it has never failed me. They have put a lot of time and hard work into this to make it what it is!!! I will never use anything else as long as they keep it simple and free as it has been since day one! It just gets better and better. It is free and you can use it as a backup number even if you have a real phone. There’s always some who don’t want to give out a real number so this is perfect for that. As long as you have a good connection, it will be clear and you will receive texts and calls in real time. You will also never miss a call or text even when you don’t have service or WiFi connection because once you connect back everything you have missed, it will show you, such as missed calls and/or text messages that you had not saw while you had no connection. At least give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you all at TextFree for this amazing app!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!!!

There’s a login/create account wall. I was going to have a look at the app before trying the service. Nope.

Needs fixing!

When it was text free and before the recent update and it changed to pinger on my phone I used to be able to turn the app off. I loved this feature because I only use this app with my sons father who harasses me. He has no problem calling and texting 100 times a day (I’m under estimating it) and at all hours of the day/night. So I appreciated that I was able to turn off the sounds and he didn’t wake me up all night long. Now, no matter if I turn the microphone and sounds off in the settings it still rings when he calls. I don’t know how to fix this but please help, otherwise I’m in for months of sleepless nights.

Greed has taken over

Fototico

I’ve been using this app for something like more than 10 years or so. I’ve seen it grow from a dumb little app to what it is today. Unfortunately with full screen ads it has gone down the path of cheap junk apps. I used to pay to remove ads when it was only a few bucks per year, but once they went to the monthly fee I stopped subscribing and stopped using the app as much. Now with the full screen ads I am seriously considering deleing the app. Sad but if there is one thing I am not willing to put up with is full screen ads. I was a paramedic for ten years and now I’ve been a patrol officer for three years. In all those years I’ve recommended Pringer and Textfree to thousands of people, but now that will stop and I will wait one or two updates to see if one of the developers regain some sense of common decency stop with the greed for more and more money. The app as not advanced much, if any, in years to justify the move to full screen ads.

Getting greedy

I’ve used this app for several years now, back when it was just “textfree” , never had an issue until recently. I personally thought it was cool when they added the pay for minutes feature, I don’t talk a lot so having minutes for when I need them was legit. Now there’s an ad that pops up after each text, nbd right? Then after every phone call, still nbd. NOW they are blocking certain messages and want you to upgrade to receive them. SPECIFICALLY the two factor authentication codes. They KNOW almost everything requires one, and they’re choosing to capitalize on it. Then have the gall to text you and tell you they blocked the text and to upgrade to receive “these additional features” while every other short code comes through just fine. As someone who’s been down with y’all since almost the very beginning, must say I’m disappointed

Mostly good

I use the app occasionally and it works well for my needs. My gripe is that lately I keep receiving ‘use or lose’ messages every few days, even when I’ve been using it. Makes me think something’s wrong with their usage tracking and they’ll take my number for no reason.
