Tournaments are Ridiculous

This app was once very good. The tournaments were a blast. Those days are gone. Now they are just a slow boring waste of time against the bots. The bots don't play, they just time out and play the cards from the top line down. You have to wait for 5 hands to be dealt with the clock sloooooooowly counting down. Delete the app and find something better.

Tournaments Not Working Anymore

Used to love this game ... very addictive. Then the tournaments stopped working correctly. 3-4 opponents play their cards in the order dealt, usually resulting in a foul. Waiting for them to time out is a bore and little to no competition. Please fix and get your five star rating back developers!

Love this game, but just discovered that they’re using bots in the majority of the tournaments! People don’t pay to buy virtual currency to compete with bots and get on a leaderboard that’s now meaningless. Stop putting bots in the tourneys pls !!!

Addicting and fun game but I still for the life of me can’t figure out the tournament scoring. I play the tourneys a lot and finally cracked the top 20 rankings recently, but the scoring can be frustrating. You get 50 points for a win but if you lose there’s no telling how many points you’ll drop. I finished 2nd in a tourney and lost -160. Very next tournament I finish second and they take away -203. Scoring makes no sense. If there was any rhyme or reason to the scoring in tournament play it would be more enjoyable and less frustrating. I guess if you don’t care about cracking the leaderboard then it’s not a big deal, but I’m incredibly competitive and it drives me nuts trying to figure the scoring out.

Decent game BUT the tournament play is totally messed up. You’ll mostly be matched against unskilled bots. And then heads up play vs bots let’s you play free vs the ones that are not very good, and charges an absurd amount of money MONTHLY to play the one “pro” bot. The real reason not to download in my opinion, is that the scoring and gameplay is buggy. This is probably due to coding errors that are not affecting most of the game but if you pay close attention you’ll see here and there... especially in the group tourneys. Also I strongly suspect that the “pro” bot is getting dealt cards outside of the normal randomization scheme. Why? When they get a fantasy round to play all cards at once, their cards seem to be consistently WAY stronger than the fantasy cards I get. I’m saying like every time they’ll have massive hands, like 2 full houses and AA or a straight flush and straight and KK, whereas I’ll be lucky if I can play a flush OR straight and one or two more pairs in my fantasy rounds. It’s just so absurdly imbalanced. That’s purely anecdotal and after maybe 30 fantasy rounds observed. So it’s not a HUGE sample size but I’m not wrong... their “pro” bot is really just dealing off the bottom of the deck. Anyhow it’s sad but I had to delete this app. If it was truly free or a one time purchase, say $2 or $3, which it’s worth, I’d buy it and play daily. But when they want $20+ per month AND it’s loaded with bugs that have been there for months, and instead of fixing they add more bugs... F that!
I think the Tournament mode is dead

It’s been weird the past few months. But now, it seems like the tournament mode is totally done. Checking rankings crashes the game. And now it is saying I’m unranked and when you click play now, it just goes on forever “looking” for opponents
Fun, but the app needs some work.

It’s a fun game, but the app is full of issues. Currently I can’t play a tournament. When I click to join a tournament nothing happens. And when you click to see the points leaders, the app closes.
