Lots of (so far) untapped potential

I love the "dock" for this game. It's a great idea and makes playing pinball on my iPhone a lot more enjoyable. That said, there are a few issues: I have to take the case off my iPhone in order to make it fit into the [app]cessory, even though my case adds very little bulk to the device. Since there are spring-loaded guides in the dock, I think they could have allowed for a bit more space. The Pinball Magic game itself is okay in a sort of retro-Gottlieb way, but the physics engine needs refinement. Right now the ball feels like it's moving under water. It would be nice to have more control over the settings and physics. For example, the table is only shown in top-down view and is so tiny that the writing on the targets is almost illegible. They should have an option for a scrolling view. The thing that would make this a must-have [app]cessory (and even more so with the much-rumored iPad version) would be if it could work with ANY pinball game from the App Store. The company's website claims this is coming in a future update.. Also, the company apparently uses a bit of false advertising. On their website it says, "Build high scores to unlock other games." No matter how high I scored, I hadn't been able to unlock other tables. I e-mailed the company to find out if I was doing anything wrong. The company's response was that there are no other tables. Until their (app)cessory has more uses, I can't really recommend it except to a diehard pinball fan.

The hardware is semi-decent, but the game needs a lot of work. Collision is horribly glitchy and the ball goes through random obstacles. Please fix, could be a 5 star app. Also, update for retina display graphics.

Ok, so the game is awesome. Ok, so it's awesome that it actually works. But why can't we unlock stuff?!?!? I know it says it'll be in the update, but that was in October! Please update!

If there is one thing any good pinball app must have, this app doesn't have it. Pinball is a game of physics, and this apps physics are broken. The ball often passes through targets, walls, and the flippers. In the worst case I experienced the ball passed part way through a flipper in the up position, then caught on the back edge of the flipper and slid down to the joint end before falling off the flipper. It's very frustrating to see the game show you that you did catch the ball on the flipper, but your still going to lose the ball because the game feels like it.

I would give it full star if there's app for ipad 1,2 and more and hoping to get some classic games on it like addams family or monster bash and make it playable with or without iPad accessory then it would my world!

The retina support is appreciated; it looks great and I can finally read the small text. Can't wait to see what else is in store so I can feel like I got my money's worth. Third party support will complete this app but even if it doesn't get that far I will be happy to see more tables and improvement in the physics engine.

I haven't received the dock yet ,but it's coming in the mail. I've looked at reviews and it looks fantastic! I mean it's a arcade that fits in a backpack! It looks great. I also really love the concept like who what have thought of the dock idea!
