Pinball Magic is the latest in New Potato’s line of fun and hands-on accessory products for iPhone and iPod touch. The free app works with the Pinball Magic machine cabinet to turn iPhone/iPod touch into an arcade-style pinball table. Working plunger and flipper buttons on the Pinball Magic table launch the pinball onto the surface of iPhone/iPod touch.
The host of Pinball Magic features is sure to immerse any pinball enthusiast in the gameplay. Players can choose single or multi-player mode, challenging up to four competitors and honing your skills. Classic pinball game controls include ball-launching plunger, flipper buttons, and credit/select button. True arcade gameplay in the Pinball Magic app includes four possible multi-ball modes, end-of-ball and replay bonuses, and ball saver. Includes tilt detection, tilt warning and activation.

Obviously it needs more work with updates but it's a unique experience and a refreshing change of pace from normal apps! Keep up the updates and this app can truly become spectacular!

I've had this for almost 2 years now and we've yet to get anything the company promised us - still multiple "locked tables" on the main screen, so we only have one table on which we can do NOTHING that the side of the box promises - slap saves, drop stops, flipper transfers - what a joke. None of that is possible. What I REALLY want is what was promised before this app came out - comparability with other pinball games. Apparently "rights issues" are holding things up. Not cool. This device looks cool but is worthless. - New edit in Sept. 2017: Almost 7 years since the last update. Clearly dead in the water and nothing will change. Don't spend more than $5 on this as a talking piece or something cool to hold your phone in.

The idea is new and I wish it worked better. The hardware itself is not very durable and is overpriced. It barely even worked. It is not worth the money.

Got the "Pinball dock" as a gift, then downloaded this app. Fun and novel idea. The pinball game itself could be better, with a more exciting board and gameplay. Overall though, it is definitely a gadget+app combo that will make your friends jealous.

I got if for Christmas and I was kinda expecting more... There's only one layout... Gets kinda boring... Don't get me wrong, its awesome, It kept my amusement for a good 5 minutes(no sarcasm) but what's with the locked layouts? I have the table, payed for it,(not me) but c'mon is we should have all the layouts!
