I love nascar pinball table

Is "pretty good" good enough?

HoosierAdam

Dec 2017 - after receiving feedback from the support team, my hopes were raised. I was excited about the two latest releases. It turns out that they released these with major problems that totally affect the gameplay. These are EM machines, so it seems like these should be easy fixes. So far, nothing. It feels like it’s one step forward and two steps back. Buying tables remains risky. Maybe it works. Maybe it doesn’t. For now I know I bought tables that are technically defective. Disappointed. If you want a game thats not bad, but not great, this could be for you. Do you like apps where the developers ignore most/all customer feedback? Do you like apps that have buggy tables years after those bugs are pointed out? Then this is the pinball simulation for you! From a music track you cannot shut off to the most bland and ugly black menus under the sun, this app has gone from something really good to something I regret getting sucked into. Don't hold up your hopes for any decent tables to be released. Outside of an occasional familiar name, most tables are obscure Gottlieb tables. If you get this app, set the bar low. Set it very low so you might not be disappointed. Update- there is no company that listens to feedback less than this one. If you choose to buy any tables, it's a crapshoot. It won't matter much anyway, you'll get so tired of the music you will just stop playing like I have.

Fix the video glitches for iPhone X

mapdan

I have enjoyed this app since the days of iPhone 3G and I have rarely run into issues with all versions of the iPhone up to 7 plus. Unfortunately, with iPhone X and it’s wide screen and unusual upper portion, the video and game play is skewed causing some games to be unplayable. I want to enjoy this app more and I’m hoping the developers will quickly fix these glitches so I can continue enjoying this app.

This app is completely broken on iPhone X

I’ll update my score when the app is updated.

Pinball Arcade Plus vs Free version

Seven9er

Not too happy I paid for the plus version when there isn’t any difference between this and the free version. First off I hate add pop ups and the plus version STILL has pop up adds?! Really?! Secondly, the same tables are unlocked, so now reason to spend any additional money there. Lastly, the game play isn’t as smooth as it should be. The plunger is choppy so shooting skill shots is near impossible and the flippers are not reactive and will glitch out at random. Also, the nudge option doesn’t react well either. Lastly, there was no mention of additional in app purchases wen downloading the plus version. I assumed there had to be since there are lots of pins available. But would be great to know what was actually included in the game before downloading. Would be nice to throw the player a bone and unlock Addams family or theater or magic or similar popular table unlocked from the start. Would love the option of a refund and I’d go play the free version. Lots of room for improvement.

Multiball: How I learned to squint

Pinball Arcade, while lacking in cross-platform support, is quite simply the best emulator/simulator around for re-experiencing the games I loved as a teenager. The old UI was a little clunky, but functional. The redesign... well, I'm not sure why Farsight thought the current UI was even remotely usable. Even on a 6+, UI elements are extremely difficult to read, counterintuitive, and significantly less appealing than before. While I appreciate the concept of a slimmer interface, the table icons blend together in a way that makes it almost impossible to figure out what you're selecting. Providing no option to filter to purchased tables is a complete failure of planning, and might have made this atrocious redesign slightly more bearable. Farsight would do well to listen to the feedback they're receiving here: revert to the previous UI and go back to the drawing board. Preferably a much larger, easier to navigate drawing board.

New UI breaks tables, looks horrid

Comet257

This was a good app before and one I've spent lots of money on, buying every table pack. The new UI is absolutely atrocious. I can't believe this has been in the works for so long - it looks revolting and also breaks tables. On any game with an extra flipper button to press such as Starship Troopers, the button is now the size of a pea. You can move the location of the button but you cannot adjust the size. This makes the extra buttons almost impossible to reliably hit and really ruins the tables. Please revert back to the old UI.

Pinball Arcade Pro

DARKANGEL_007

It would be nice if the makers of this app would lower prices, fix some of the tweaks, free it up some. This is just an idea that might help give the app a more better rating. Fans everywhere are waiting!

Simply amazing!

SnookFan

Pinball Arcade is my favorite app in the entire store. I have become hopelessly addicted to playing these classic tables. I love the Pro table extras, for example where you can explore the entire table in detail. My wish now is that they start supporting native resolution on the larger iPad Pro screen. That would absolutely rock!

Many purchased table packs now show as unpurchased

Dan Zuccarelli

The UI is horrible no doubt. More upsetting is I have lost access to multiple table packs that I have bought and played for a long long time. A broken ruined app now!
