Great app, though design and UX could be improved!

CharlieM98

Hi! For the few days I’ve been using this app, it has been awesome. I am more aware of my sleep patterns and how I can improve. I’m not a big fan of all the swiping and gestures though, the alarm takes way too much space when I’m changing modes, and swiping on a small space isn’t too intuitive. Great job overall and hope to see more improvements and new features!

Pretty great app

It’s easy to use and easy to include into my nightly rituals. I honestly have no complaints.

It would be cool.

It would be cool if you didn’t get a purchase upgrade screen with everything you did.

Why I’m deleting this app

noregreblem

I rarely write reviews—usually only in the case of a truly awesome app. That is not the reason I’m writing this. I get that app developers need to make money. And I actually prefer apps that allow me to pay instead of those that rely entirely on ad generated income. But the Pillow app has managed to completely avoid my sympathy by creating an app that records me while I sleep—so basically records my bedroom—and then wants me to pay to listen or even DELETE that recording. Use my device to record me in a private setting and the charge me if I want to control that recording? That’s not a revenue model, it’s extortion. And it’s enough to send otherwise sensible people on a crusade. Like me. How many different people per day do you think I can ward off even trying you “free” app? I’m going to spend the next few weeks talking to random people. This will be my new ice-breaker: “did you know that the popular sleep app, Pillow, records the sounds in your bedroom while you sleep AND THEN CHARGES YOU IF YOU WANT TO DELETE THEM (since controlling or even accessing recordings of your bedroom is a “pro feature”)?” I’m going to say that A LOT. But first I’m deleting this privacy-invading extortion app from my device and providing feedback to Apple: they need another brick in the wall.

Extended sleep

I wish there was a way to allow you sleep longer and keep tracking after set alarm goes off without having to reprogram.

Fair to Middling

I am still using this app, I tried to edit the sleep time as I got up after forgetting to turn it off-after a search on the Internet found that you cannot edit. It is coming in a “future update“-That I had to search the Internet for something that should just be intuitive I found irksome- also having to start the sleep app on my watch and my iPhone is just stupid-I’ve been waiting for this “future update“ long enough-they’ve been talking about it for months if not longer Old entertainment I am transitioning from-fit bit to Iwatch and like Fitbit sleep tracking better nicer graph and accuracy -pillow did not record that I got up to go to the bathroom-it says I slept right through it -also the recordings stopped working two days ago. The percentages of REM deep and light Sleep are quite different from Fitbit-though overall time sleeping was spot on. As far as the recording‘s-when it did work-I was unable to edit/delete irrelevant recordings. I either had to delete the whole night or nothing-this is day five so I will keep it for a couple more days-hasn’t earned its five Dollar cost yet

Syncs Rarely with iPhone

Kijahni

I really liked this app when I first got it. But now it syncs only off and on with the app on my iPad and iPhone. I particularly wanted to look at these records on something larger. It just isn’t reliable.

Analysis failed error on series 2 watch

Admiral OJ

I can only give this app 2 stars because after paying for the upgraded app, when looking at the report after an overnight sleep, the Apple Watch app comes up with an 'Analysis failed' error. Following the on screen instructions and dismissing and retrying or restarting the watch doesn't resolve the problem. The paid version of this app doesn't work properly!? Buyer beware!

Meh.. it’s ok. You only have access to a tiny amount of the information unless you pay. I don’t know really even how accurate it is.

Great but then some problems

ellam44598

This app worked great for me for the first week I had it, but then it randomly stopped working on my apple watch. Whenever I open the app on my watch, I’m not able to click anything or select any options. It’s quite the bummer given that I paid the $5 for it to work extra good and now I can’t track my sleep at all. Hopefully that will get fixed soon!!
