Photo Share & Photo Transfer

There are many photo sharing apps in the market. Photo Share is arguably the easiest way to share or upload photos with a great user interface. With the app, you can upload photos to Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, Twitter etc with just a flick of your finger. If multiple users are on the same WiFi network, you can share photos with others users the same way, with just a flick of a finger.

Here is how easy it is to use Photo Share. You can add photos from your camera roll or any of your albums using the '+' button. Once your photos are added, select the destination on the top and push/flick the photo towards the destination icon. Thats it. Your photo will then be uploaded/shared to the destination.

Photo Share supports multi-touch. Photos added to the workspace can be moved around within the workspace. You can move multiple photos with multiple fingers. You can also pinch to zoom in/out, rotate photos using the standard options. The Edit options lets you delete photos from the workspace.

FLICKR, FACEBOOK, PICASA & TWITTER UPLOAD

To upload your photos to Flickr, Facebook, Picasa or Twitter, you'll first need to login to your Flickr/Facebook/Picasa/Twitter accounts. Once you are in, you'll be able to push/flick your photos to the destination. You can also upload multiple photos simultaneously. For Flickr, photos are uploaded as private by default. You can change this to public under the settings section. Photos uploaded to Facebook have to be approved before they show up in your Facebook page. You can choose the target album for Picasa photos. For Twitter uploads, you'll have an option to edit your tweet before you post your photos.

WIFI SHARING

With this application open, you can also share photos with other users on the same WiFi network. Names of other devices will show up on the top. To share photos with those users, simply select the device and push/flick the photo upwards. At the receiving end, users will see the photos sliding on their application. Shared photos will automatically added to the default photo library on the device.

But why doesn't it upload to facebook right it makes a folder but doesn't put the photos in them!

Messy
WillWeston

I was looking for a program to upload multiple photos to facebook and this was a big disappointment. The platform is completely messy and difficult to organize photos.

Loses geotagging data, stamps Flickr uploads with its name
PaceRipley

The app is certainly simple and elegant, but that is as far as I can say that is positive. First and most irritating to me is the fact that the app does not upload to Flickr the images with the GPS data they are tagged with by the iPhone camera. Second, and this cannot be disabled in the app - any upload to Flickr - FROM AN APP YOU PAID FOR - will be tagged with the words "Uploaded from my Photo Share". Classy, no? Getting rid of this comment on a large number of photos is a time waste. In short, avoid. Missing PixelPipe - the best upload app ever.

Photos not sharing between 2 Ipads
Gerard's Mac

Did not do as advertised... Sent a photo from my iPad to my wife's iPad with no luck! I saw her iPad listed in the software (also downloaded the app on her iPad), saw that photo was being sent from one to the other, but the photo never materialized in her iPad. It kept saying "receiving photo" over 10 minutes....I gave up. Great idea just did not execute.

fast!

With both applications open on my iPodTouch and iPad, it works like a charm. The uploading to Facebook with this app was faster than the file upload I did from my MacBook. Great product. Maybe it should be more clear that for a file transfer to take place, all party's devices must have the app to begin with.

3 things about this app
Clydenclar

It is sluggish, doesn't work, and I want my $0.99 plus tax back!

It works
Photo uploaded

It works but the interface is a bit gimmicky. When you have a lot of pics (often several of the same scene) it is hard to tell them apart. This app would be better if more space was dedicated to the list of pictures you have, not the ones you are about to upload.

Does not work!

UPDATE! I was wrong, mis-read the instructions. I would definitely purchase. Upgrading the rating to 4star. This app simply does not work. Just purchased while on a road trip and wanted a way to upload images to facebook. Made all the proper settings and selected the 10 images but they just sat on the desktop. No push or upload. This should have a dedicated upload button once the images are selected so the user knows that the action was initiated. This way you just site and guess what might have gone wrong. The user guide is ambiguous on the subject.

Slow and limited
Jbitson

I purchased this app to upload photos to my Picasa album while traveling and was vey disappointed. High quality photos took forever to upload and there is no way to resize photos within the app to speed up the process. I found another app, iPics that works perfect. I wish there was a way to "test drive" an app to prevent this kind of disappointment. Thumbs down for this app!
