The Philharmonie de Paris complex – which includes a number of concert halls, a museum, a media library, many teaching facilities and the Cité de la musique – is a highly innovative project whose mission is to make music accessible for every type of public. Its musical activities are hosted in two buildings designed by two great architects: Christian de Portzamparc for the Cité de la musique; Jean Nouvel for the Philharmonie.
