I had gotten the original games on SEGA genesis when I was a kid and now they are back these are the games I love the RPGs of today don’t stack up to phantasy star

In-game save doesn’t work, cloud save sometimes hangs

Don’t use the in-game save, there is no way to load it (the game’s normal opening menu has been removed). And the cloud save has just failed me for the first time in about 12 tries, hung during the sign-in process. So either find another game or save often.

Connecting to Game Server

Nothing like sinking hours into playing, only to have the “Game Server Signing In” loop that you cannot escape... And reading reviews that tell the terrors that also happen when you actually PAY for the app... geez. Give us the ability to stop it when it goes into a server sign in loop, cause nothing make me want to delete this app more than constantly losing my progress due to poor programming and connection issues.

Just charge $5 and drop the ads and net connection requirement

I get it. It costs money to put this out. Just give us back the old iOS version from 2013 and charge $5-$10 for all 3. The save game bug makes this nearly unplayable.

Ok so I played these games at least 3 and 4 extensively on sega genesis and had high hopes for it on mobile. But after constant issues with saves I can’t recommend playing this on mobile. You have to be signed into the game center to save which it regularly signs you out of and it doesn’t even save on your device. So this game being a not small in terms of play through rpg losing progress due to something like a save issue is an instant deal breaker for me.

I have played all of the Phantasy Star games,and I LOVE them! Phantasy star was the game that got me into video games in first place. These are great, but please tell me, where can I get the first one? It was the first video game I ever beat, and I would LOVE to play it again. I know it was a game for the Master system, but it had incredible graphics, at least by 80’s standards. if you aren’t releasing it,can you please tell me if someone is?

What can I say. It’s not like playing on the Genesis, but it’s a solid emulation, it’s cool that you can save at anytime and the game works perfectly. The controls feel odd with that iconic Sega D-pad beneath your left thumb, but unless you have Nomad this is the best way to play Phantasy on the go. Phantasy Star 2 is an old school RPG but the translation is good so the hints actual make since of you use your head you can figure out where to go and what to do with relative ease. Phantasy Star 4 is probably my favorite RPG of all time so I was happy to see it here still plays great still looks great, though the models may seem a bit smoother than they do on the system. The sound isn’t as good as it was on the Genesis, but it is on the phone after all. With all that said it is exactly as my title says, Phantasy Star on the phone.
