Reviews

Really wish it would play playlist continually
tcadams10

Really love and enjoy all the features. It would be perfect, if you could set the BPM for each song in a playlist and then the app would play the playlist from start to finish. Any chance of this happening in future updates?

Awesome App but...
SMLKO

This app is awesome for those songs that need to be sped up to fit a party type setting..However it would be perfect if the controls would be like Apple Music’s..It’s missing the Skip buttons and it would be great if you can have the “Play next” or “Play later” feature just like Apple Music has.

Screwed
Aye Q

If you are from the era that liked music chopped and screwed you will play with this for hours. It does a great job of not just slowing down or speeding up but it seems to do it so smoothly it sounds as if that’s how it was recorded originally. I like this one. Don’t know exactly what it’s good for but it earned its spot on my phone.

Mostly love it
Jwelchez

I absolutely love the ability to manipulate the tempo of streaming music. As a transcribing musician, it’s an invaluable tool. It would be infinitely better if the fast forward and rewind could be done to the second more easily. Sometimes when you’re trying to hear a single 16th note you don’t want to have to scroll back an entire 5 -10 seconds. Perhaps the ability to change to a sideways/landscape orientation of the app would allow for a wider scroll bar and make it possible to forward/rewind more precisely. If that were to be fixed, this app would be a 5 star A+ 100% perfect app all day long. I’m a college professor and have recommended this to several students as a transcribing tool. This is a complaint that I’ve also heard from several of them, as well. Please fix it in a future update.

Works but not great
SingGinaSing

This is ok as a practice tool only, and not great for the price. When you change the pitch of the song it gets really warbly. Guitar sounds like banjo. However for practice it is ok.

Cool app
dannyolmeda

Please add more accurate scrubbing through the track And Please add the ability to set loop markers within a track. Thank you!

Does exactly what I need
Blademaster02

I've got a lower voice than most of the artists whose songs I like. As a result, sometimes it's hard to sing along belt out the tunes, because there are parts I just can't hit. This app let's me easily drop the pitch to a key more manageable for me. Also changes tempo simply, but I haven't had need for that feature.

Simple and elegant
You obviously don't want this

I am an amateur pianist and needed a program to practice for a concerto competition. I use Music Minus One disc material with High note to play the orchestral part slowly for practice. It simple, elegant and responsive. Bravo, Open Planet. Thank you. Bob from St Louis

Great for practicing music
Illgb

Makes it easy to analyze what is going on in a recording, or to play along at a more comfortable speed.

Great for learning songs on guitar
gohokie

I found this as a good repalcement for my other app that no longer worked correctly.
