They have an option to use wifi instead of minutes but when you make a call using wifi a pop up appears that says to change settings so you use minutes. I can't stand the slimy nature of this

Terrible! I was charge $300 on my Verizon bill for international calls placed through the PennyTalk app. PennyTalk customer service said it was my "fault" for pressing the 'CALL' button under the dial #s screen, once I had chosen the number from my contacts WITHIN the PennyTalk app. They made no attempt to reimburse me. BEWARE of this app. It has serious design flaws.

After a few months I start having terrible reception, and most of the time they couldn't hear me at all.
