Simple is best. Strongly recommend this amazing app.

I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who wants a simple, minimalist, clean journaling app. No unnecessary features, which I love, and everything is organized very well. Definitely plan on using this app for a long time!

Horrible

Pisces in march

I paid for the premium and it’s awful. I don’t find it easy to use and what’s the point of premium if none of its features work. I want my money back and defiantly deleting it. Not a good app at all... I wish I could give it no stars!

Cute, not ready for use

I liked the idea, and though the interface took some time, I actually liked it. I rated it very low for two reasons: 1) I could NOT get the app to sync between devices. 2) When I clicked on app support on the App Store, I was brought to an instagram page, not in a language I could read and it required me to sign up for Instagram for further access. I did pay for the premium features, but they don’t seem to add much, or work (unclear on that point). This app has been deleted.

I adore this app, it's helped me so much with organizing notes and such, and it's very easy to use. The minimalist design is perfect. My only suggestions are to change the "edit date" feature so that articles can simply be dragged and dropped into order and to allow basic typing features like bold, italic, and hyperlink.

What a lovely little journaling app! I wrote one article and then purchased premium. It’s that good. I also own a very popular journaling app that has become a bit too busy and cluttered over the years. PenCake hits a nice balance of features and simplicity. My only gripe is the “Tap to edit Story title” not disappearing or able to be turned off. It’s a bit of an eyesore. I hope there’s a Mac or web app in the works as well. Great job!

펜케이크 어플 진짜 좋아요 너무 맘에 들어서 바로 유료 결제했는데 진짜 만족합니다 ㅠㅠ 진짜 딱 한가지 바램이 있다면 PC모드도 있었으면 좋겠어요 틈틈이 편하게 글 쓰고 피씨로 한 번에 따로 옮길 수 있게 ㅠㅠ 글 복사해서 외부로 올릴 수도 있으면 진짜 좋을 것 같아요

I love the idea of this app and it will get 5 stars when they add two things: 1) Sync between devices. This is a most for me. 2) the ability to bold and italicize text. This is basic text formatting found in every other writing/journaling/note-taking app out there. Why it was omitted here I have no idea. Once these are addressed in future updates (I hope) this will be my go-to writing and journaling app.

I'm giving this five stars. I don't care what bad things anyone has to say. This app is so lovely. It's like when someone insults an kind granpa. This app has helped me through thick and thin, with depression. Depression kinda gotta in the way of me writing down my thoughts. But I enjoy this app even though it does pain me to write sometimes. It is easy to use and I have nothing bad to say about it. Usually all apps have quirks. But not this one. Much love and appreciation. <3
