I was hoping to become pen pals with a Spanish speaking person but that has not happened yet but willing to give it more time.

My only complaint is that sometimes it takes ages to get a response back. And when it does happen, I seem to get a barrage of them at once. I don’t know if that’s how the message delivery algorithm is designed or what. Otherwise, good app. Nice way to kill time and chat with strangers around the world.
No response to pleading for help.

I accidentally sent something personal as a letter. I can’t fix this because I can’t see nor delete my letters. I have contacted them several times and received no response. I am very frustrated with the fact I can’t look at my letters. Until this is fixed, 1 star.

It says 12+ on the App Store but when you sign up it says that you have to be 16 or older to use the app. I’m 14 going to be 15 and wanted to make some friends, and was excited to find an app to help me, but I couldn’t put in my actual age. I had to put 16 or else I couldn’t sign up. So if you have to be 16 and up to use the app why does it say 12 and up in the App Store?

It started out ok, then people started to ask me wear I worked and I didn’t think much of it at first so I told them like a dumb person and I totally regret it. I wish they had an age range of people you could talk to. I’m pretty sure I kept talking to 60 year old perverts that wanted to scam me and come to my house. I really don’t recommend it.

This app is amazing! I’ve already made so many new friends! Using this app allowed me to directly connect with many people across my own country, and many in other countries. I’ve conversed with people all the way from Ukraine to Indonesia. I spoken with people from California to Germany. If there was one thing I would change though, it would be how slow it can be sometimes. Sometimes the letter takes seconds to send, sometimes it takes minutes. And today the app has a major meltdown and froze my whole phone and freezing in the blue compas loading page. All in all though, this app is pretty great and I recommend it if you want to connect with others around the world, and even your own country!

The app worked fine for a couple of weeks but now all the sudden it’s super slow and I can barely talk to anyone. I tried deleting old messages hoping that would work but still really slow

I really like this app. I love different cultures and countries, and through this app I was able to make a lot of friends all around the world and learn about their cultures. I love it as hell*__*
