Really

MStol

Is this really PC Magazine? Because if it is you should be embarrassed. I also enjoyed the "print" magazine until they went digital. Then onto Zinio which I now think was great after trying to use this terrible iOS app. A tech based mag with a near useless app. Who would have thought? Update soon or I'm canceling my subscription! Update April 4, 2017: This app has now gone from bad to worse. Can't even see my download. Do not waste your money on a subscription because you will just be disappointed.

Seems ok

Miss the real mag though Ok as long as I don't drop the iPad in the bath tub. Fewer renew cards fall out of the digital addition. App doesn't work very well. Miss the real mag

Horrible App Canceled subscription

exactlyjake

Magazine "downloads" but doesn't show content. Subscription cancelled.

Very poor

Corwin2424

April 2017 Developer reached out to me. Checked again and PC Mag and MacWorld are now working Keeps losing my login rights even tho it shows I'm logged in. What good is showing me I'm logged in if it says I have to buy or subscribe to see any issue. Dumb software. Apparently the company that does this for PC Mag also does it for MacWorld apps because it has the same frustration.

One star for bringing politics along with incompetence

andreiantal

This must be a joke or something. First of all you need to create a new account based on an email which may still belong to an existing subscriber or not. And then you need to reset the password you just created in order to login with the new password you just received on the email mentioned above. Are you kidding? Are you serious?

Terrible app

Boaster

I "download" an issue and every page except the cover consists of nothing but the title of the article in large bold text, as if it's a placeholder, but no text or images. Reinstalling doesn't fix it. I'm not going to renew my subscription since the app doesn't work right on the iPad Pro.

Agree with every thing said in the one-star reviews

Ippowus

I couldn't agree more with all the one-star reviews. This app does not deserve a tech magazine like PCMag. Or has PCMag come down to this level of tech? I've had to repeatedly write Customer Service because of lost subscription access, password not being recognized, and downloads with titles but no contents. The Zinio version shines compared to this. Sure miss the paper version.

Terrible upgrade

let.me.in.the.sound

Why would you have come out with a far more difficult to use, very low tech digital subscription iPad app? Your iPad app is really awful. It's readability is awful compared to the rich experience of the previous version (2013-16). But I've accepted that because I have no choice and I've been a subscriber from the mid 1980s. The bigger problem is that I can't download issues! Over and over I've restored purchases. I have a subscription via iTunes. It renews again next February. Currently it won't allow me to download the June issue without paying $3.99. Maybe even worse is that your customer support never responds to me. I understand you are challenged with publishing a magazine in this era and making a profit. But I'd think you would want to retain the subscribers you have! If I can't get this resolved, I'm sorry but I need to cancel. So, why did you get rid of the old app?

PC Mag Hits Bottom

MJS-July 3

App will not let me download the June issue without buying it even though my iTunes subscription doesn't expire until 2018. Then I discovered that the magazine and App have become so bad that I didn't really care.....cancelled the subscription and deleted the App.

Again, problems to update and download new issue

What app??

Again trying to download the newest issue is nearly impossible. What the heck is wrong with your app? And yes, I have deleted and reinstalled on iPhone and iPad. You are making it easy to not renew my iTune subscription. Sent from my iPhone
