Just like the board game

Who? Mike Jones! 8004.

The UI layout out a little strange and very crowed, but the game play is good. Well worth the .99 I paid.

Thumbs up

Good game for great price

Great board game, great port to app

Very well done.

Still Needs...

Super fun game but still needs: 1. An UNDO button for pieces picked up by accident; 2. Improved chat functionality and notifications. Chat is pretty much non-functional and would really add to the game; and 3. Fix the constant "network error" notifications.

So many network errors

I love this game, but the app has so many network errors that prevent me from using it (to play online games, which for me is all I use this app for, as I own the physical board game). It's extremely frustrating.

Quick fun and easy

Fun strategy game you can pick up and drop at any time. I play it throughout the whole day on and off.

Adore

I love the physical board game, but this is great to play on my own. Love the music too!

Very frustrating

I want to play this online and have yet been able to. It says it can't connect to the internet.

This game is fantastic!

If you want to experience elegant design in a 2 player board game then you want this Uwe Rosenberg modern classic.

Well done, could use a few improvements

This is a faithful port of the original board game, with a well done, whimsical design. The asynchronous gameplay works well and is overall quite enjoyable for my wife and I to play each other at our leisure while we are at our respective jobs. I do have a few suggestions for the developer: 1. When a player makes the final move of the game, the 2nd player never receives a push notification. They should get a notification that the game is finished. 2. A custom notification sound rather than the iOS default would make the app even better, and help distinguish it from other app notifications. 3. If you are previewing a piece on your quilt and then cancel out, many times the "Pass" button will disappear and you have to back out of the game and return for it to appear again. 4. If you background the app too quickly after making a move, the game seems to not complete the move and notify the other player. The app should continue to finish the move and make the network call in the background. 5. Similarly, it seems like it takes a bit for the current game indicator to show up once the app is in the foreground. I guess it is checking the internet and updating after the app is loaded. The app already knows that a game is in progress when it is backgrounded, so it should always show the indicator immediately. Also updating progress in the background, possibly by silent push notification, would be really nice for having the current game progress updates and ready to go when the user returns to the app. 6. Adding a friend and starting a new game with them was a little confusing at first for both of us. Perhaps simplify this process. 7. Similarly, current games should be more prominent from the main screen. The main screen is crowded with a lot of buttons and is a little overwhelming. Simplifying this screen to just 3 or 4 main sections would be much nicer, with active games badge/menu more prominent.
