The questions are hard enough to elicit second and third order knowledge, but provide ample explanation of the answer choices. Well written, challenging, and novel question stems. I use Pastest to study for most of my preclinical coursework, and I plan on incorporating it into my Step 1 Prep.

I am a 2nd year medical student and I have been using Pastest online and on this app since the beginning of Med school. It has been a great resource to test myself as I go through the organ systems. Thank you for the free trial!

Used Pastest through my second year, saving UW until dedicated (as one does). I loved the style of question and felt like the wording was very similar to NBME style. Preferred this Qbank to Kaplan by far. I love how it gives you immediate results and explanations after each question, rather than at the end of a long set. Great for rapid-fire review if you’re on the subway or a plane. Highly recommend!

I like pastest questions specially hard one because they depend on your understanding the question and make interaction though They don't cover everything but you can use Usmle step 1 q bank as a helper I wish if they make more questions to cover everything in the usmle exam

Find out about this FREE qbank from a friend about a month or so ago. This bank is wonderful! It has over 2,000 GREAT and challenging questions that will help prepare you for USMLE Step 1. The app is also a great add for on the go study.

The reason i gave 4 stars is because of only one thing which is the screen locked without dimming like in other app, need to be fixed

This is a great resource! I'm using it to study for my preclinical exams which use old NBME exam questions and it's working great so far! I'll stick to UFAP for Step 1 but this is a great free alternative to Kaplan.

Pastest has really nice questions that supplement my studying. Do questions through this app have solidified major concepts and showed them to me in multiple ways so that now I feel adequately prepared for exams. They're question explanations could be little more thorough but I've seen much worse aids for USMLE. And it's FREE! And has an app for quick use?!

Great new qbank I started using. It's got a good variety of questions with detailed clinical vignettes and thorough explanations on all answer choices, not just the correct ones. My only dislikes are that the filters save on the app don't reappear when online and that its hard to pick a certain number of questions to do in tutor mode.
