It needs MUCH improvement- doesn't recognize account

I set up the account on Safari browser and received my confirmation email. Then installed the app, and it immediately did not recognize the exact password and email I had just created. Went back and forth on that and did the email and reset password option. It immediately said "invalid user." So I thought, wonder if they want the Shopper ID discussed in the browser page as being the phone number (never mind that the reset password page in app clearly said "email address.). Tried the phone number and I'm still an "invalid user." Reset password from the browser and the link went to my email and I was able to go back to browser and reset it to a new password, nothing "invalid there. Back to the app and it still says invalid password, and the password reset option says invalid user, when I type in the email. So I deleted app, rebooted phone, reinstalled app, and exact scenarios repeated again, both the invalid password, and the invalid user bit when I went to reset password. I'm posting this here now to write this out and then will go post on developers app (with somewhat baited breath as to whether the developers have a working website.). It's not like this is my first time on the internet or the first time with a digital coupon app or with an iPhone etc, so I'm fairly confident I have a few clues as to the normal expectation of how a website and an app should play nicely together. But right now, the playground bullies are not playing nice at all and I can go to another grocery store for less anguish and stress. Starting at the bottom star rank, so hopefully we can only go up in improvements!? ==== January 26, 2016 == No improvement on the app. I can log in on website at home, select coupons, make my own list to take to store with me, buy the items, tell cashier my phone number, and I get my coupons that way. It's just more effort, and easier to use Checkout 51 and IBotta ... So, no contact from developers, no improvements equals one star.
