Surprisingly good

prvtnet

I had done the free trial when it first came out and thought it was a good start but needed work. Recently they put their app on Apple TV so I subscribed. They have come a long way. I have watched quite a few videos and the range and quality is vastly improved. I have been cooking seriously for 50 years and I learn something every time I watch. They have attracted some terrific chefs doing a broad range of cuisines and methods. The production values are first rate. It's like being in the kitchen with the chef taking you step-by-step through the dish. This is a great resource for anyone interested in upping their game. UPDATE: I am coming up on a year and Panna just gets better and better. If you cook this is a no-brainer.

Amazing!

Love the app! It really helped me to take my cooking game to the next level, by teaching me tons of new tips and tricks. Super easy to follow the videos. Chefs are awesome - great variety!

Unusable due to crashes

I really liked the app and website but for the past few months the app has been totally unusable due to constant crashes. I can still use the website but this is a pretty inconvenient solution. At this point I’m going to just print out the recipes I like and cancel the subscription.

Deceitful! You will regret it!!

Downloading this app will be a costly mistake!!! The money they charge you is just for recipes, not classes, even though they make it seem so! And you can get recipes for free anywhere on the internet! They charged me for the whole year with out letting me know, or without telling me what I was getting! When I tried to get a refund their customer service was of no help and almost rude. We barely even used it and now I'm $40 in the hole for something I never really wanted. I'm a student and it's really something I can't afford. It breaks my heart they are trying to deceive people and steal their money for something they don't necessarily want. Please don't support them

Love this app!

Probably my error - but still unfortunate

It is likely due to my own naïveté but of course I did not see the fine print telling me I have to cancel my free trial to not get charged the $40 for an annual subscription. I really do not care for this kind of business practices as it feels deceptive to me. And of course, it is a final sale because they know how often this happens.

Nice idea

This app is fine. I'm only interested in a minority of recipes, but that turns out to be quite a few. The videos is what sets it apart. If you need help with technique, this is the place. My problem is that they lost my subscription and I had to pay a second time to get many of my favorite, recipes back. I tried to contact Panna as well as the Apple Store. But no one was there to help. I don't like getting ripped off, and I am always suspicious that some day they will delete my account again. Judging from the other reviews, I'm not the only one that has had account issues. Too bad.

Awesome recipes

I love this app so much it has amazing recipes. They show you everything you need and every step on how to do it. Just one thing you should know before downloading this app you have to pay $3.33 a month

Almost there

I would give this app 5 stars but.... The shopping list is too burried in account. Move it out to bottom icon bar It needs and only works with apple mail setup to share out your shopping list. Need to have other sharing options text, skype, Outlook, OneNote, notes and so forth.
