but you can never leave. Can’t delete my account or change my email. I’ve never had anyone respond to my messages on this app. Total waste of time. So basically they get your email and can say you’re another user for their numbers until the end of time.

Can’t change Facebook email

Awesome concept but can’t use it due to the below. I signed in for padmapper using Facebook to login but my Facebook email was outdated. I tried to switch my email on Facebook but your padmapper account keeps the original email you signed up with your Facebook at the time of originally signing up for padmapper. Once you synch your Facebook account it won’t let you unsynch your Facebook account and therefore you are stuck with whatever email you originally signed up with. A very specific problem but now I can’t receive emails from this app because they force you to synch your Facebook and resetting it does nothing.

Listers don’t bother! Ridiculously bad!

They force you to download the app to post a listing and then don’t have a posting option available in the iOS app. So, I found them through organic search and signed up for my free account using the email option rather than using Facebook sign-in. Then I went to the menu option ‘Post Ad’ and a stupid pop up window comes up with one of the two options (2nd for multiple listings) reading the following, “Download PadMapper for Android or iOS and go to the post tab to rent out a room or sublet your apartment.” In today’s tech world, I thought no big deal and went to the App Store to download the app. As directed, I open up the app and to my surprise there is NO post tab anywhere - or anything else to post a listing. So, I did a thorough search in the reviews. From what I’ve read, it seems that you must use Facebook Sign-In to get the posting option. I don’t appreciate being jerked around so I didn’t bother changing my login solution to confirm; however, if that’s true they should state it in the pop up window redirecting you to download the app. Apple should question the validity of this developer and force them to be fully transparent to continue on the store.

This is taking the stress out of moving for me. I’ve been in Denver for the past month searching for 1br apartments. I finally found out about PadMapper from Reddit. This app has been the most helpful so far out of all of the ones I’ve tried. The daily recommendations are great too.

I just moved to Texas and am in the process of closing on the first of potentially a couple homes in the Dallas area. In the hopes of managing properties and not wanting to just rely on Craigslist I have tried to get my ad posted MULTIPLE times but it has been pending for about a month. What a joke and waste of time.
