Had some friends over last night and had them all download this app. It worked great and everyone had a lot of fun picking and voting for songs. Will use it often for gatherings!

Perfect for parties and road trips. Fantastic free app that needs more attention!

I am about to go on a road trip soon and we are having to take multiple cars. I was looking for a DJ app where people can vote to add songs to the playlist without me having to pass my phone around while driving every time someone has a suggestion for a song. This app is awesome. Hooks into Spotify (if host has premium) and SoundCloud. People can use the app or send a link to people and they can add songs through their mobile browser. Only the host needs Spotify if you wish to use Spotify. This way the three cars we are taking will be playing from the same playlist and all the passengers can vote and add songs. It's like a custom radio station by us for our long trip! It adds a little bit of fun to it. Perfect for parties too I'd imagine.

I have listened to and collected music ever since I was 12 years old. I am also a DJ and because of that reason I am known for being the DJ at all my family’s events. Sometimes that gets a little annoying because I am always playing music rather than relaxing. That is what prompted me to look for an app that has the music controlled by the crowd. I tried several different apps, but none compared to OutLoud. When we came across this app and tested it out I got very excited. This was the most reliable app that I had come across with this functionality. I put the app to test when I had more than 50 people download it and use it at family get together. The app worked perfect without interruption. The refreshing rate on this is one of the fastest I have seen on a phone app. I moved a TV outside so we can connect via Chromecast. Everyone was taken back on how nice the interfaced looked on the phone as well as on the TV. When viewing it via Chromecast the right side toolbar changes from “Recently Added” songs and “Top DJ’s”. When someone votes for a song you loaded it keeps track of how many times someone has voted for a song you loaded. That was very fun because it turned into a game to see who could become the top DJ. We were doing this while we kept the party going and people were dancing.

Two major downfalls that ruin the ability for this to be a good app. 1. Will not orient to landscape for jukebox tablets. Who the hell runs a real audio server on their phone??? 2. Chromecast stream only sends video to the screen, not audio. I haven't heard of anything so idiotic. Obviously the developers have no concept of the actual use cases for this.

Confusing and unintuitive

I downloaded this and "Party DJ" for a party I was DJing. I went with the later. Outloud is cumbersome and almost impossible to get working. Everything from selecting your own playlists to allowing guests is hard to figure out. In the end I went with "Party DJ". I'm cost a small amount to unlock the host features but guests are free and it is super simple and just works.

I have Apple Music, and it in a way works but SoundCloud will not sign in the web app is good just wish as soon as you went to the link it would take you to the web app and not a option for the app it was a difficult thing during my party also they spelled Google wrong
