Makes it easy to let everyone at the party submit music to the playlist and vote on its order. Like the Chromecast integration and the ability for people to participate without signing up or downloading the app if they choose.

I've tested them all and this one seems to work the best. Qup requires the host to have a Spotify Premium account to even use it. That's $9.99/month. Really?! Liyo only works with Spotify, SoundCloud and KCRW (what is that?) so you can't even add songs from your own iTunes library. OutLoud works with Spotify (NO Premium account required) AND with your iTunes library. I was able to add playlists I created in my iTunes library and play them through the OutLoud app. I'm going to try this at my next party and I'll update my review. This is the party/tailgate/DJ music app to beat all the others and it's FREE!! It just works. Just download it my friend... Update: I tested it at a college tailgate. Works beautifully. Your app is about to blow up

Awesome and fun app. Tried it at a house party and this app lets you create a playlist and then pit people against each other. Meaning, there's an ongoing battle for what the next song is going to be. It's a fun experience! Pretty sure we all have better taste in music than our friends.
Finally, music that I wanna hear! \(^^)/

Used this app last weekend when I had people over decorating for Christmas. We all wanted to play our "favorites" as far as Christmas music goes so the app was great for a collaborative playlist! Even discovered some new versions of classics songs that others added to the list that I'll be adding in the future. The screen projection option also worked well to display the communal playlist during the get-together. Will be using this app again! **UPDATE: The latest version is a lot faster and cleaner than previous versions! The menu's have been simplified which makes navigating thru the app a lot smoother; it helps you get to "enjoying the musical experience with others" faster! Great update.
Cool party app with Spotify

Had fun voting up and down songs with my friend. Takes the pain out of picking songs and makes more of a social music party. At least someone needs the premium Spotify, but as long as you have that you are golden.
Needs a bit of work for audio

I really wish when you cast the video to your tv it would also do the audio. I hate having to have my phone plugged into the speakers. That means I won't have my phone with me. It will be sitting near the speakers.

Not sure why this app doesn't any reviews because this app works really well and it's a great idea for parties. Only gripe is SoundCloud searching doesn't work super well, but hopefully that will be fixed in future updates.
