Absolutely amazing This application was A much better alternative to notes.

The functionality & formats within the app is impeccable! It really looks to be an awesome application for creative writing projects, monologues, taking notes, etc. Sometimes the dialogues are a little a-skewed with at times some non-sensical key-in's, however with that said.. it adds another layer of creatively queued interactions to spark ideas & can give a spin to your writing process as a whole. Top-Notch guys! -Matt

Hoping for more but still pretty cool

I installed this app hoping that it could replace the voice to text for iPhone messages. Looking around at it I don't think that it's going to be able to do that. Which is really too bad because it looks like it is something that would be very well suited if it had that feature enabled. This is not something that I personally use so after giving it credit for what it does look like it can do I'm going to uninstall it. I will continue to look for something that will make the voice to text feature on my iphone actually worthwhile AND trainable. Either it's not worthwhile or I mumble an awful lot. LOL. Anyway, great job on this app. I just wish I had more features.

I am a reporter who utilizes a communication device to speak. Unfortunately, this means that it takes a while for me to respond to a comment from a source. Would you please put a pause button on the recorder so there are no dead air between questions?

Great but the time indication is too small. Should be darker too.

That’s it. Very useful but it’s really, it really should be easier to read the information. And also should be possible to rename each recording. Hope you make,those improvements.

The accuracy of this app is the best out of all the transcription services I have tried. Obviously it’s not perfect, but it’s surprisingly good even given less than ideal background noise. Some suggestions that would make this extremely valuable for me: 1. Recording via Apple Watch. I currently have to use an app called Just Press Record to record on my watch and synchronize to my phone, and then manually import those recordings into Otter. It would be better if I could have an Otter app on my Apple Watch and record through the app. It doesn’t even need to be real time. 2. Developer API. As a software developer I currently build integrations with the Google speech recognition API, which is not nearly as good as Otter. I talked with the Otter team at a conference recently and they said they have no intentions to release a developer API, which is a shame. Please reconsider! I would happily pay for developer access to your amazing speech recognition system. 3. Integration with Spotlight. Transcriptions should be indexed so I can search them via iOS. 4. I love that they added custom vocabulary in the most recent update! But currently it's all manual. It would be great if it preloaded the person contact list vocabulary with my phone's address book, and maybe infer the rest of the vocabulary from my Messages/Gmail/other data the way SwiftKey does.

This is a great product. There are a few glitches as far as the transcription is concerned, but these can be easily worked out.

It actually works the way they say- and the ai feature really delivers a pretty clean transcript, it just saved me an hour's worth of typing this morning. Some minor edits that took 5 mins. And my doc was ready! This is the cleanest transcription app I've found. - good job team!!!

I am very pleased with Otter so far ! this is one app that does what is described. For once I am pleasantly surprised that it actually works with ease. The learning curve is a gentle slope because of the intuitive layout that's designed for the user. what makes the screen easy to read. . . the inclusion of "white space". making the screen appear spacious and uncluttered, yet has all of the needed functions. Also, Other is compatible with many other apps such. as Ferrite, Google, Voice Memo Thank-you! Peace out
