Super cool app

Dkwnur

I am very impressed with this device. I bought it from Fry’s a while ago and haven’t gotten around to using it until now. I have read the other reviews about the app not turning in landscape mode, but I guess I wasn’t using the device when that was occurring. The latest version I have allows this and the quality of video is great! One of my favorite things about the newest version is the ability to use dropbox and google drive. I use started using these functions every day at the office and they have been working great. I also found out I can finally create a new folder. Overall, I am super impressed with the product itself and the application and can’t wait to see more products coming out from this company.

Works like a it's suppose to

Read a lot of reviews on the app, but have not had any issues with the app both running off of IOS and Droid OS. I've ran the same movie off of 3 devices without problems and the quality and speed was really good.

Meh...

The Kebler Elf

Unfortunately if your reading this review you most likely already have the device... Be prepared to severely dislike this app... 1. "Open in" functionality HAS to be included, if not then what's the point of this thing in the first place???? - please atleast add the function to put documents in apps like notability, and PDFs in iBooks! 2. Music player needs WAAAY more functionality. On ios you can't import off of this device (apple wouldn't allow it anyways); however, that means you will have to listen to the songs through this app which has NO PLAYLIST FUNCTIONALITY. It plays one song then stops, if you back out of the player it stops, if you want to change the song it takes 3 clicks! Atleast add a next song option! And allow me to back out of the player to do other things like look at photos while music continues to play!! I have to admit the device is fantastic! The functionality for wifi routing, repeating, sharing of files with friends and coworkers is amazing.. ON A PC AND PC ONLY. On an iphone tho? This does nothing for you, and that's a shame because my iphone and ipad are on me literally 100% of the time. I take a PC with me 5% of the time. Great idea poor execution. Based on previous updates to the app I guess I'll have to wait 2 more months to see if anything is better, so this will sit in my desk till then.

Needs "open in"

Mi tech guy

I found a way around the no "open in" oversight (HUGE OVERSIGHT), use safari or chrome and navigate to 10.10.1.1

No security if you intend to share. Too slow.

Great hardware concept. Software needs much work. You can set a password (no https) on the web... But if you install the app there is no password and it bypasses it. The password is for access not settings. In other words, using an open network, anyone can completely control your device and files. Using a protected network everyone in you group or presentation has full control. Change settings, delete your files, etc. There should be a password on settings. Files should be read only for guests. The app shouldn't bypass the web password you set. I also agree that the files should support the 'open with' API as most file managers and cloud apps do. If the software could be refined this could be 5 star. The biggest issue is this is useless for what it presumably is supposed to do. I need to get my camera card pictures to my iPhone 6. 15 minutes and only 3 thumbnails have rendered. Meanwhile, no pictures will open (gave up after 5 minutes waiting). In short --you pop your camera SD in and can't access anything for perhaps a half hour or more if you have many files or perhaps high megapixel. Since it looks like it starts over when restarting, your phone will have to be sitting on the app running for potentially hours... I found that if you restart the device and use the web access that method works. The App, I have yet to have it display thumbs or open a file from the camera card where the devices web access can. So the App gets a bad review from me.

Monster OTG Cloud

I was looking at a Mobilelite G2, as affordable way to save media from my three old Blackberry's but could not find on local without having it shipped. I came across this at Fry's for $18.00 new and thought what the heck I'll try it.. It is not the fastest and most user friendly device you can buy but it does work at bargain price. Always been happy with products by Monster in the past and glad I gave it a try... I seen it listed on the Monster web site for $100.00 and that seems to high for the build quality of the product but from $ 20-35 bucks go for it...

Does not support "Open In" and .avi streaming capability

GrumpyB2

This app doesn't support the "Open In" functionality. If you won't let me stream .avi movies in the native app, at least enable me to open the files in other Apps. Otherwise this app isn't very useful!

Very poor functionality

Oskarxm

App plays ONLY one song at a time, stops when out back out. No option for playing next song or making a playlist. Plays very limited video formats, really only MP4. Does not open most documents.

Useless for music

enemix

I intended to use this for my car. But can only play one song before it stops. No landscape and the buttons for left and right are tiny useless when driving. Continuous random play w/ large lanscape buttons would be nice but las update was 2 yrs ago

Updates!

Larry_Gonzalez

Please update the app! It will stop working with iOS 11
