Latest version won't open on my iPad

All I get is a white screen and crash. I have a suggestion. Forget the enhancements. Just find a programmer who can stop doing I/O intensive tasks on the main gui thread. This app freezes for minutes on end randomly while it does some kind of update. Simply wretched concurrency programming in this application. But, again, I'll take back the lag if you can just make it work again.
Decent, but expect better

App not bad, I like the download capability for offline reading. But still klunky in some respects: highlighting is not as smooth as it should be--you should be able to swipe in one motion, like in the Kindle app, instead of using the iOS highlight mechanism. And the other issue I have is that it doesn't seem to open back in the same spot where I left off when I open a book again. And I don't see any bookmark capability. For the price of the subscription, would expect a better experience, but sounds like improvements are in the works so hopefully will get there soon.

Overall works pretty well. Please add dual page view. This is sorely missing from the app and really needed for larger devices like iPad pros (even minis for that matter).

Well, you can't even SEARCH within a book. Such a basic feature. Man you can NOT SEARCH. What's the point of a technical reference if you can't search? Let's download a UNIX command reference and check the pages one by one until I may be find the command or realized at the end it wasn't included in this book? This is the worst ebook reader ever. IF I knew that before I subscribed to safari, I would never have. On top of this, you can not organize your books, or even bookmark a page. This is just ridiculous. I paid one year to save money, but next year I will save even more money by cancelling my subscription. Another basic feature missing in the page numbering. That's right. 2016. No page numbering. Seriously. What's to know how big is a book? or a chapter? or how many pages you have left to read? Too bad. That's too advanced for this App (or the website).

Excellent way to carry around all my library selections on my iPad. Developers very responsive and there are constant updates with new features.
Content is awesome, please improve navigation and bookmarking

Please include some pagination information. When I min a book I have no idea if it is a 10 page book or a 1,000 page book and how long a chapter is. It is very hard to plan what your are going to read, get back to where you were or cross reference multiple books. This will absolutely be five stars if the curation and navigation experience can be improved. I use it a lot but it could be so much better.
