Solitaire with high replay value

GoemonTheHero

I bought this game at least a year ago and I still play it. I have two expansions now and I varying the game by combining them. I will surely buy the third expansion. Excellent value.

Just as fun as the real life version.

Simple user experience and a nice translation of the actual print game’s gameplay. Huge fan of being able to enter the oniverse on my phone.

Impossible to win - game glitch?

VickieNJ27

Played for awhile and cannot win no matter what. For example drew a nightmare, gave up my hand, and got a night mare in every single refill of the hand until it ran out and I lost the game. 7 nightmares in one turn?! That's not random - that's defective. And it seems to be that bad every single turn. Game is a good concept but something is broken in the programming or something. It's literally impossible to win. Frustrated.

Too many rules...

Overly complicated. The only game I’ve been able to win is the tutorial. I guess I need to print them. For a “simple” game, this is ridiculous.

Great app

Should be considered a standard for all games

Great game

Simple, easy to jump into, and requires some thinking. Great game.

Other Expansions Needed

Update 5: October 4, 2018. It’s been nearly 8 months since my last update, and Asmodee hasn’t had any announcements about the additional expansions being made available. Having played them in the physical edition, I can honestly say the app is lacking due to not having more of the expansions available. It’s still a great purchase if you’re brand new to Onirim. But having played well over 1,000 games on the app, I greatly prefer the expansions that are available in physical form. Update 4: February 14, 2018 - Sadly, Onirim hasn’t received any of the other expansions that are part of the physical game (the card version has 7, as well as 2 promo expansions). I concede that of the 7 expansions, the 3 available within the app are some of the better ones, but it would be great to see the others programmed in as well. Nevertheless, if you’re new to Onirim and/or enjoy quick solo/solitaire games at all, this is a required addition for your iOS device. Update 3: July 28, 2017 - Asmodee quickly released an update, so the app is back to 60fps. Back to 4 stars. Update 2: Late July 2017 - Asmodee released another expansion (yay!) but now the app is L-A-G-G-Y. R-E-A-L-L-Y laggy. And that's on an iPad Air 2. In it's current form, I wouldn't recommend the app at all. How this made it past any kind of quality control / beta test is beyond me. Hopefully an update is forthcoming...and S-O-O-N. Update: July 2017 - The most recent update includes the occasional pop-up ad (between games) for other Asmodee Digital apps. As one who paid for the app, it's sad to see this happening. I've removed a star for the unnecessary advertisements. Original Review: Asmodee Digital has been delivering some high quality modern tabletop game apps as of late, and Onirim is another solid release. The overall UI is easy to navigate, and those unfamiliar with the game can quickly understand the various nuances that make Onirim such an attractive game. For the $0.99 launch price, it's an easy decision to add this to your iOS device. With expansions adding even more variety and variability, this is quickly becoming one of the most played games on my iPad.

Where are others in this series?

Idsmith

Wonderful game! It saves me from all the shuffling in the physical game. I would love to see the other games in this series - Sylvion, Nautilion, and Castellion - brought to iOS.

Tutorial breaks at blue cards - garbage game

TacticalPreacher

Bugs kill apps, and this game is too full of them to make it worthwhile. Maybe it’s a ploy to purchase the physical game? It freezes each time the blue cards come up. Can’t tap any of them. Other things work, like the menu. I reset the app and it did it again, same spot. Just installed it new on an 8s Plus. Uninstalled.
