Getting better every year

ulev

The unit is compact and it’s pack is small enough to carry on longer trips. The replacement battery is definitely an improvement over the last ‘rechargeable’ Unit...especially when one ‘packed’ the wrong charger wire....on a someone ‘sourer’ note: The serpent tongued “test strips” are altogether a lost cause...must of been designed by some IT guru who is too young To know what it is....for more senior Diabetics Too REMOVE the strips, then INSERT the ‘shiny’ side, stab one’s finger, then angle a drop towards the sense strip....really.....? All while having just got up, and before even a cup of coffee.... Meter...Great ! Strips....NOT SO MUCH !

I am having problems with pairing.

Great program but has some issues

Angeljorge

It’s a great program in my one touch version flex but has issues. Please fix them. Constantly having me sign in as if I’m a new pt.

Love this app!

Fast, easy and accurate

Better before

PapaMordecai

It was better before they messed with it. It crashes. It locks up. Sometime it takes Long to sync. I don’t care about the Ads(sr articles). And why can’t I... 1. Log no insulin meds as what they are. I have to use insulin other. 2. Mark morning fasting glucose. This is different from Pre-meal. 3. Why can’t I delete a reading or exclude it from trends and averages. Some you get a bad reading that skews things.

Quick and accurate

Love this meter. It is used as normal and syncs quickly with my iPhone. The displays are easy to read and helpful.

Love love love!!!

My dad got the one touch verio flex initially and raved about it so of course I just had to have one as well. My father is 76 years old and talked about how easy it was to use with the app. I love that this app sinks up to my Apple Watch and reminds me to check my blood sugar. I am not always as compliant as I should be! Life and being compliant is a little simpler these days.

History in my hand

This is so easy! The lancettes are tiny, but the meter doesn’t need much, so there’s no pain. The best thing is the app. It holds and charts every number in color-blue if your sugar is too low, green if it’s good, and red if it’s too high. I can see my whole history in my hand, and take it to the doctor for my check ups. It even shows my average mg/dl. Best meter I’ve ever had!

App update is missing something.

I cannot add insulin as an event to my log from the app. It is no longer an option.

I knew this app would stink...

I was given this new meter by my physician. I was looking forward to using this app coupled with Bluetooth to my iPhone 7; however, I was completely disgusted by the legalese which indicated that I must share all my info and data with them, with their "partners," and any other group/company in the future. That their partners could keep my data, etc. This doesn't sit well with me. We all deserve privacy. I've read reviews here that troubled me. Namely, that "articles" are displayed during any, and all, startups of the app. I've been an Apple Macintosh user since 1988. OneTouch never made an application for the Mac. When I begged along with others to make a compatible application for us, they told us to purchase Windows-based PCs. Not the way to endear anyone to their product. Most every HMO I've belonged to always gave me LifeScan devices. I didn't have a choice. Any other device would have meant purchasing it on my own. Not helpful. Getting test strips, needles, etc. for free was my objective. I couldn't afford an "out of plan" device, test strips, etc. I just deleted the app after reading the full legal document in their website. It doesn't give any protections for the consumer outside of calling customer service for assistance. After the Equifax breach of data, I don't feel this app, or the company, are trustworthy anymore. I might very well return to use my older Verio device. It used regular batteries and lit up. Easier to see the results too. What a lousy company. AND it doesn't sink up with HealthKit or have an Apple Watch component. This is utterly useless.
