Like the feature where you can track the bus real time. It also tells you if the bus is not doing live updates. Then it defaults to the published schedule, which it does indicate.

Finally, the app has added an alarm! This is very helpful. It is also easier to read than the last couple of versions. Now, the main improvement needed is GPS-based data, but this is really up to the transit authorities which only seem to provide transponder-based data.

I get around by bus a lot (I don't own a car), and I rely on OneBusAway every day--sometimes several times a day--to get me where I need to go on time. Every few months there's another update that adds even more cool features. Occasionally information about a given bus isn't available because the transmitter on the bus isn't working, and occasionally the estimated arrival time is off by a minute or two, but that's what you get in unpredictable city traffic. Just don't plan to arrive at the very last instant and you'll be fine.

Yes, I depend on this app. However, I'm the lucky one that always tries to catch a bus on time (because the app says I can) and when I try I barely miss the bus. My other complaint is that the app will tell me that a bus will show up in, say 5 minutes, but then it never shows and when I reference back to the app it suddenly tells me that my bus is now not showing up for 26 minutes. It's frustrating and I'm very much over believing this app anymore.

Apple worse UX than FB?

The data is often wrong for Rapidride busses. It is so far off that the app itself is useless. Often busses disappear from the schedule. Arrivals are frequently off by 10 minutes or more. The app is completely unreliable.
