Won’t sync

The app will sync with my PDM, but not show any information. Probably just a bug that needs to be fixed.

Wish Omnipod existed 10yrs ago…

…had this medical device been in existence & prescribed a decade ago, I know I could’ve been a lot healthier today. The Omnipod app works just as good as the PDM “LESS the functionality of the BOLUS!” Please add the “Bolus option” to this app so that if desired we can leave the PDM at home/drawer I gave 4 stars (⭐️x4) for overall satisfaction of app. Add option of “Bolus” and you’ll easily get 5-10 STARS! = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? + ?????

One suggestion

The app is great for what it is. The only thing I’d expect it to do that I don’t think it does is show my Pump settings (Basal rates, IC ratio, CF etc.) Having all this on one screen would be helpful if there’s ever an issue with the pump so setting up a new one would be simple. It would also be good to have a fast screen shot if another doctor is curious about my settings. Would love to see average insulin taken for day as well b/c I am often asked that question (total insulin, not just basal). Would be ecstatic if I could Bolus and change settings from my phone even if I still had to carry the device.

Luv to ride my bike

I enjoyed the App until I went to see if there was an update and learned, correct me if I’m wrong, the App has access to all of my phone contacts, photos and other information. Not sure why they would need that private information so I deleted the App and don’t plan to use it unless that changes.

Lame

Very unhappy with the false advertising that led me to believe your phone would connect directly to the pump.

It’s liberating

I have only had the OmniPod for five weeks so I am not familiar with everything it can do for me. For instance, I haven’t yet learned how to set a temp basal or suspend insulin delivery. But I do know that it has been wonderful to be free of giving myself injections. I love being out to dinner with friends and not having to excuse myself to deliver my insulin. The targeted amount I get helps with keeping my blood sugar steady. Pairing it with a Dexcom CGM really makes it easy to keep track of numbers. I have found that some places I attach the pod are a little uncomfortable-not bad, but noticeable. That will take time, I guess. It’s a small price to pay for the freedom I have now. Finally, for me it is less expensive than paying for two types of insulin. I am on Medicare with a supplemental plan. I will stick with OmniPod.

Does not work

E Girl1

Added to my phone this weekend and I went through all the steps, successfully paired and all areas are blank. Waited a couple of days but nothing. A waste of time loading and setting up for no information to be seen on the app.

Could be a lot better

You continue to rely on the PDM. The pod is Bluetooth as the PDM. The phone should be able to control the pod. Such as deactivate, suspend, Bolus etc…. I can control by Dexcom 6 why not the pod?
