Amazing data - lots of trial and error

spearce

This app, coupled with a wireless third party scanner, provides an amazing amount of data for reading telemetry on your vehicle. The downside is that there isn’t much instruction on how to setup the 100’s of data points for your specific vehicle. I’m surprised that there isn’t more of a community or forum for users to share information. However there is ample info in YouTube and other websites about what a lot of these data points mean and how they are useful for troubleshooting issues with your vehicle. You’ll just have to tackle things with a bit of trial and error to even get a reading to return results for seeming innocuous data like fuel economies. The app also has 100s if data points prebuilt into the logging that may jot return any info for your vehicle as the vehicle doesn’t provide that info natively. I really believe there is a lot of room for crowd sourcing the right data points and usage for specific popular vehicles.

7.3 powerstroke diesel upgrade is trash

Zh85

Spent the extra 10 bucks and most of the upgrades aren’t even available. Going with Forscan. ??

Good start.

There is so much info available at the OBD2 port. While it wouldn’t make sense to put everything at once in the app, the ability to go out on the net and select some of the more obscure sensors/pids for use would be great.

Deleted app after 3 days

2011ford escapeHEV

That’s how long it took to realize that this app wasn’t reading my emissions equipment. In that 3-day period I downloaded a different ‘Ford-specific’ OBD reader and saw the signals from my emissions gear (o2 sensor, catalyst temperature, etc). .. so I realized that if this app isn’t able to read my Ford’s emissions equipment then it’s probably not reliable at reading trouble codes, either.

Connection issue

Mike0807

Every couple mins says OBD disconnection and I have to refresh, not worth 10$

Nice

Works great.

Powerful and Complete

With so many OBD Apps at lower prices or even free, The OBD Fusion is worth the price for both their standard and the enhanced version. You not only get all the gauges you could possibly need, you also get the best software support from the software developers of OBD Fusion.

Awesome!!

I can actually see what my truck is doing now without spending hundreds on pillar and dash gauges!
