I’ve tried a lot of apps but nothing comes close to this one. Highly recommended

I loved the interface and enjoyed using it for a few months, but suddenly I started getting an error message when connecting to Dropbox. All my files are there, so it’s now useless to me. Reinstalling did not work and I’ve gotten no support. Time to look at other apps, I guess.

For some reason it doesn’t allow the tracks to play in the order they are supposed to, but sorts them. Unless I am missing how to fix this, it’s frustrating...

I am looking for the video players app. But too many app on the App Store, so I did googling. Find one answer. “Try nPlayer.” Eventually you will use nPlayer.

This is by far the most capable and stable iOS media player I've ever used. The only feature I really wish to have here is support for Replaygain tags. Other apps support it, but their interfaces are not nearly so polished as EmPlayer.

I rarely ever write reviews. I consider it a waste of time, in fact I believe this is the only app I have ever rated on the App Store, never mind written a review for. That says something. My story begins on Android. I was looking for a good video player there, I found MXPlayer, an absolutely amazing app, best video player there as far as I am aware. Recently I joined team Apple and was dismayed to find that it isn’t here. I used VLC for a while but missed the sheer amount of control that MXPlayer gave. Enter nPlayer. It not only met my goals of an MXPlayer replacement, it surpassed them. The video controls are better than anything else out there. Jumping ahead and back based on swipe distance is amazing, the feature I was looking for, but you can also change the brightness and volume simply swiping up and down in the video. And it has all the other controls you would expect from a premium player, lock the screen, good scrubbing, wide file format support (I have yet to run into something this won’t run), ect. And a ton of other features, network streaming, the app can make a local website in fact to which you can send files (albeit is a little slow, but I think that is Apple’s fault), FTP, web browser to find internet videos to play in it, and a ton more stuff I practically never use but is very useful when it is there. I forget how much I paid for it, but it is definitely worth the cash. Absolute must if you watch local video on your phone.
