The Note Rush App is such a versatile teaching tool for students of varying ages and abilities! Good review for both Treble and Bass Clef notes and can be done in just a few minutes of lesson time. Kids never get tired of playing this App!

Great app with one fatal flaw: the game does not explicitly penalize wrong guesses. My students panic knowing they are being timed and guess until they get it right. I feel it's not really helping them learn the notes.

This app has been such a helpful teaching aid from my piano students. This helps them identify notes directly from the staff to the keyboard. Sometimes when students memorize note names that does not tell me that they know where that note is on the piano. My students enjoy tracking their progress and improving their note reading skills using an app on my iPad!

My daughters love this app. It has made learning the notes a lot more fun than when we were practicing with flash cards. They love trying to beat their high score. They are always excited when a new holiday themed screen comes out. I do wish there were a few more regular theme choices.

As a piano teacher, I use this as a warm up round before lessons. Kids love them, and having a score at the end of each round really motivates them to learn the notes faster! The only thing is because the app is sensitive to sound, during the game rounds you can't verbally talk or have other background sounds, because the app will pick up those sounds and mistake them as pitch sounds.

Note rush is awesome because you have fun and you learn at the same time ???

I really like this app and have started using it with all my piano students at their lessons. They love trying to beat each other's time. I like that the app requires them to play the correct key on the piano/correct octave rather than just choose the right note name. All the different themes available in the app make it fun for kids too. Can we have more to choose from in the future? ?

I teach beginner to intermediate level piano lessons, and this app is our weekly warm-up. My students ask for it! And I notice significant improvement in their recognition speed in their repertoire. I would love to see accidentals added at some point. Maybe through a feature I could toggle on and off?
