Trust in Norton products has always been the reason for my subscription. My original Norton Utilities 1986 was a great tool. All Norton internet products that I have subscribed to are well designed and easy to use. Thank you.

VPN is a good thing. Better protection please!

$4 Me

VPN is spotty where I live due to poor broadcast of Internet. However due to inherent self protection I check connectivity often and stay on top of the VPN. I know the hacker is a local resident named Shaun Parker. I verified that he lives in the Driftwood Villas in Springfield, Oregon 97477 Any way to ditch this guy? Do I need legal help or can the police stop him if I dhow he gets into my E-mail and can access passwords? There are more hackers out there than you might think and a VPN is the only way to stop them. So far the bank and credit cards are safe.

Pain in the butt

Always resetting and have to sign in and the verify with postures takes five minutes of it actually goes through the verify process. And can’t access most apps on phone with VPN on.

Recent changes to VPN are not good

Used to work great. Just turn on the app hit the on button and you were connected. Over the last week, it changed. Now I have to use username password, captchas, and multiple dialogue boxes every time I log on. It’s ridiculous. If not fixed soon, I will switch to another VPN.

Norton’s 360 w/ lifelock

Not sure why I get mobile notifications - my desktop has been activated use mobile app to decline or allow the activity. While the area generating the access is not in the same location. Computers like phones# have ID addresses, otherwise the information looks more like a robo-call from a distant internet hub with millions of users generating fake area numbers and the such can be found. Is it a financial attack or is my wife using the computer for her business. Not clear on what goes on. I elect deny every time because I’m not sure of the why...while my wife does what she needs to do on the computer anyway. Criminals could be doing the same and I’d have little idea anything was going wrong. There’d be little confidence I’d be able to prove fraudulent behavior and call on restitution from LifeLock’s “we got you covered policy. Anti Virus scans?? I’m old school - virus scanning is now done under cover of darkness, with no access to verify updates or that scanning “really” occurs? Only this N360 statement which says, “If we can’t fix the virus problem, you get your money back.” Yikes.... sorry the boat sank, we will fix the leak if we can... the rest is up to you. Had Norton AntiVirus as a perk for subscribing to Comcast which is no longer offered as of 2021. I have a hard VPN on site; having a software VPN extension to off site (iPad, cell phones, Laptops, etc.) was a good sell for extended protection in today’s world. Now that I’ve updated to Norton’s Gold $$ Package, why am I getting harassment software popping up on a regular basis stating my subscription has expired. What’s the fix for the harassment? I’m sure there are a few software users who remember “Shareware” and how many provided constant programmed pokes to get you to give them a little money for a password to unlock the software for more options and stop the harassing pokes. Norton’s might be the best gift out there, yet lack of consumer confidence is a marketing game changer. Executive’s, “Your people can not talk themselves out of.. what you have worked so hard to get them into.“ Make your software convincing, work, understandable and give the consumer a choice on merit to purchase in the following year. “If you want to hold the gold key - The consumers hold the opportunity for it. “
