My nephew recommended Olive Tree a few years ago when I was seeking a good digital Bible. I have added items to the base Bible. All integrate easily and are easy to use. I organize my notes by category-made sense to me. They are easy to recover. There are functions I still need to learn. I am so blessed to have this enhance the Word of God. After years of use, I am more firmly convinced as to the value of my Olive Tree digital Bible and Library. Customer service is very responsive as well.

I thoroughly enjoy using this Bible app. This is my Bible I carry to church every Sunday. I can follow along with the Bible study and perform scripture searches easily. But the main reason I enjoy this Bible app is because I always have my Bible with me, ready to share it with others. I prefer NIV because usually people who are not familiar with the Bible cannot understand other translations. The NIV reads in plain language and is easy to memorize. Thank you for this app. It is a part of my Christian walk.

I have enjoyed and used this bible application for years. Having the Bible available to me on iPhone and iPad everywhere I go is wonderful. This particular application provides the ability to download reference material and link with your bible so you can read in one window pane and see the linked references scroll with your reading in a separate pane. I have five difference commentaries and keep one of them up all the time. When I get to a difficult passage I can quickly go through each commentary to learn from different writers. I also have downloaded Maps, history, and multiple bible versions. Most of the verses also have quick references noted with small letters as you would find in your hard copy bible; just click and the reference displays in a pop up window. You can go back to reading or switch the pop up text into the main window. The application has a great search feature so you can search for words or phrases if you are trying to find a certain scripture or want to see all the verses that use a word. There are also bookmarks to hold places you want to come back to and several ways to take notes or categorize custom tags for groupings of scripture, like all the scripture you have read that indicates there is only one God. I have a couple small complaints that keep this review from being a five star rating. I take notes and highlight favorite scripture a lot. The highlighting feature is not a simple swipe of your finger like on a kindle application. It requires pressing on a word to highlight then dragging one of the end points to where you want to stop highlighting, then finally selecting the color you want. Removing a highlight it’s equally difficult, having to select just the right test before it will let you remove. Finding the option to delete the highlight is not intuitive either. When I’m reading in a kindle application I can click on any word and it will pop up the definition of the word and even listen to how to pronounce. Getting the definition of a word with olive tree requires you look it up in one of your references, which takes multiple steps and does not provide any help for pronouncing words. If you have a good dictionary reference your u have to buy one and download. A kindle type of feature for definitions and pronunciation would be a great new feature

Love the access to all my resources in one app. It is easy to use and will pull the scriptures I am working on from various sources I own. Also many free resources available to use as well.
