Latest Update Ruined What Was Once A Fun Game

I have been playing this game for quite a few months now, and really enjoyed it. Collecting characters, powering them up, etc. But this new update they just pushed completely ruined everything about the game. What was once a difficult but fun game to progress in has now turned into a bloated pay-to-play mess. The incentive of slowly gathering resources to power up is practically gone now, and are locked behind extremely overpriced costs. They added a ridiculous number of new resources and currencies, and complicated the game to such extreme levels that I can barely even figure it out anymore. I can’t IMAGINE how horrible it would be for a new player. Not to mention there are inconsistencies all over the place. There’s so many resources that they swap around which ones you see for each different menu screen you’re on, and on top of that they shuffle the order of them constantly too. It’s a hot mess. What was once a game I constantly had open every day on my phone, has now turned into one that I don’t even have an interest in opening. Guess I should cancel my monthly subscription pass, since it’s useless now. The update of Nov 2017 made this game something we only play a bit now. No clear path to get new characters. No more spin the wheel for tournament rewards. Challenges are too easy with the same characters playable each round, right up until they are impossible....so these take all of 5 minutes to complete as much as you can given your roster. No real reason to keep checking in.
Latest update increases mutagen reduces everything else.

This game is fun. It used to be a bit more fun. The new update has made some improvements. They’ve made it easier to get mutagen, the resource needed for leveling, but slowed the ability to unlock other characters tremendously.

The new update is nice IMO. Being able to refresh opponent options (for free) and seeing their levels is a great improvement for tournament. I also like the daily prizes won at the end of the day. I also like the new daily challenges; I used to run out of pizza a lot but now I'm good on that front. I do believe a trade-off seems to be fewer ways to get fast passes as a reward though... I've played for over 2 years and NEVER have run out and even though my gameplay amount hasn't changed, I'm down to 4. So I miss those. Buying them even for in-game money is not worth it, especially since you used to be able to buy things for 5 or 20 or so dollars and now its 100's... eh. Honestly the only thing I truly miss from the old version is the listing system in the roster. That is my only 'dear god give it back' feature, because organizing them from highest level to lowest level was great. The current way seems to be high-low with sub-groups of gold, silver, what have you, but half of my level 40-50 somethings hiding near the bottom with my level 20's is annoying as all hell. Please. Dear Ludia. I don't like scrolling so far to see half of my A team. Loving the shard idea though, because crossing my fingers for a gold or silver rank up pack very rarely was worth it. This way I can update the ones I want to guaranteed once I have the resources. Overall good, can tell a lot of thought went into it.

Can the developers make a console version for this so I can just play the game offline? I just wanna add that I don’t wanna unlock let alone play the Michael Bay version of this game.
Must have for all turtle lovers!

Longtime subscriber here and diehard turtle fan. I can easily sit behind this game for hours and rank up all the different characters it has to offer. The tmnt universe has so many characters and different versions of characters, and Ludia does a good job of bringing them to you! Been playing the new patch pretty consistently, and I have to say the new challenges are great, I never liked the old ones. The tournament is still my favorite part of the game, and now they let you save up those blue tickets to refresh your best characters. The turtle coins seem lacking now. What I mean is there’s not much to purchase with them. There’s only 2 things at any given time to buy with them. Which is severely limited compared to all the other currencies. Being there’s a x2 subscriber bonus with turtle coins, you’d think there’d be more to buy. Some encouragement to subscribe! In short, great game for tmnt fans, would totally recommend it.

I love this game! I play on it everyday on my iPad. I enjoy the characters, detail, storyline, and the work that has been put into it. The only thing that I suggest though is to be able to have a PVP arena where you can battle your own characters against each other. For example, I have Karai and April O’neil. It would be fun to test each other’s skills against each other. To see how powerful they are. That is something I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE! If I wasn’t strong enough to do any battles, I would just go to the arena and PVP with my own characters and have SO MUCH FUN!!! I hope they put this in next update. Keep up the good work Ludia.
