iCloud saving?

So, I played this game 3 years ago, and it was one of my all time favorites, but I deleted it to save storage on my phone. Today I saw that in a recent patch that had saved all iCloud progress. So I was happy thinking that I could now have all the islands that I previously had and all the fish. I download the game, and I have to through the tutorial and NONE of my progress or purchases were saved. Pure trash. This game makes me soon mad!??

It just needs more updates more often. It shows a new map in the fog (which means coming soon), but there are just no updates
