Constant crashing

Ptrusk

This app is very frustrating because I really, really want to use it an like it. The problem is that it crashes so often that I can rarely watch more than a few minutes at a time. AND, contrary to the developer's claims, version 1.5 seems to have made the problem worse rather than having "resolved" it.

Used to work great

dr_punditington

Won't work at all. Just crashes before you can even begin to load any film.

I am in awe

The iPad justified.

A triumph

I've always loved the content on this app, but previous versions were completely unusable. I love the redesign, and the fact that I can send this to my Apple TV now is the icing on the cake. Well done!

Poor performance of NFB app

WSJ Writer

Very buggy application. Since there are only few of these on app store, other one is SNAG, which is US only. But another one that shows huge promise and is a great app for documentary films is FILM FESTIVAL TV instead. Much more variety of documentaries. It is TV interface thought, but love the documentary films since they have much more broader backgrounds/

Thank you Canada!

In your shoes

Good selection of documentaries and short films, including animated short films. Excellent quality on the ipad2.

Excellent!

I'm very much enjoying the content from the "Green" and "History" channels which offer documentaries on Canada's National Parks, agricultural history, natural resources and more. Favorite features of this application: A) The ability to download video content for off-line viewing. The application sets a 48-hour window for viewing and then automatically removes the content. B) Using the "Favorites" feature to tag films to which I'd like to return later. C) Using the "Related Films" link to find films of similar content. Well done, NFB. Thank you.
