I start my day with Newsday every morning. It brings the world to my fingertips. I love all of the features: local, national and international news, opinions, political cartoons, puzzles, recipes, movie reviews, advice, special features, etc. Thank you Newsday for being such a great addition to my day!

Deleted from ipad and phone because the app is always tracking what’s in my copy cache from other apps or websites Dislike that Newsday tracks all the content that I copy/pasted from other sources, and you can’t turn this off either in the app or the devices

I get two newspapers delivered to my door every day; The New York Times and Newsday. The ‘paper of record’ (NYT) is of course wonderful, but I start every morning with coffee and Newsday. You won’t get Long Island news and events covered as extensively and thoroughly anywhere else. I also value Newsday as a source for local activities and events that my family and I can enjoy right here on our beautiful island. Sadly many fine newspapers have succumbed to the digital revolution, but my chant is LONG LIVE NEWSDAY!

Not the best news source Especially when you read a robbery it’s straight from the police blotter no follow up They write like a 5th grader and never mention color of skin it’s always the perp was wearing t-shirt jeans and a hoody! Like that’s helpful???

Crosswords are impossible

Crosswords cannot be played because the app can’t display the grid and clues simultaneously and scrolling is impossible. Don’t you folks soak-test these things? Might as well remove the crosswords if you can’t get them to work properly. Or perhaps consult with USA Today to see how they do it.

Newsday might as well be called the states paper. Every editorial member is way left. They only print pro Democrats stories and print 90 percent liberals letters. Currently owe feds over 10 million in loans. Keep pushing socialist agenda and won’t even need to payback the paycheck protection money. Sad but only show in this island. News always 2-3 days old news,use AP stories . Laid off many many workers and closed Melville base. Yet Narcissistic staff believes their people’s party. Just posers.

Newsday’s reporting has long reflected its editorial views, to the extent that its reporting cannot really be trusted. Newsday routinely “investigates” issues which are of little concern to the readership but are of great interest to Newsday.

Behind the Times (and way behind the WSJ)

Your site doesn’t always work, like this morning todays paper will not download. Moreover the site seems to simply load the print edition in digital form versus designing the news for a digital format. Compare your sites to that of the NYT or WSJ (and I subscribe to both of those papers as well). Newsday is way behind - and overpriced for what you deliver in the way of quality news.
