Not getting online news

For about a week could not get news or volusia news cause it was stuck on Tuesday news online they sent me a do app and it was impossible and difficult to use
It may be new, but’s it’s not improved.

This app update makes me long for the previous version and that wasn’t even perfect. This new update made just about everything so much worse. App is slow to load, the dark mode is not helpful at all and there is no way to turn it off. It’s clear after 5 minutes of using the new app what the goal was. More ads. An absolute disgrace of an app. DO NOT INSTALL! Still have my fingers crossed that one day a real company will step up and take over this paper instead of the dollar store organization that owns it now.
Crash and login

This app crashes more than a paper airplane. Make sure your login PW is easy because you are forced to login more than it crashes. If these probs don't bother you then you won't mind slow load times, no auto download for days you miss and no content when your internet connection crashes. I would give a 1/2 star but I do what I can......

Just as the website leaves limited content to non-subscribers, this app only touches on a few top stories which are repeated throughout different sections. There is a section for recent mugshots, but I am disappointed to see there is no link to view obituaries. Layout is great, with a few changes, the app would be fantastic!
Stories have no content

Some of the stories, you click on the link to read the story and the headline is there with the picture, but no content. Very annoying. Also, a lot of times, the stories that are present are not aligned correctly, there are no spaces between words and punctuation. Not very professional.
Terrible paper...

Lived here lifelong and have watched the news journal deteriorate to the piece of toilet paper it is now.
