Great game with room for improvement

Lucian4848

Everything is balanced well and costs for players/staff of varying capabilities are reasonable. I love this game and I have played, and left reviews for over 100 games on the App Store. My only major concern is having to start completely back over whenever trying to move leagues. It should be changed so that if u place first in ur current league, I.e. USA2, and win the championship, you should have the option to advance to a higher league, i.e. USA1, while maintaining all ur progress, or at very least keeping ur facilities. Other than that, it’s a great game.

Pay To win Piece of garbage

Constant pushing to buy things, and the inability to keep a team content and happy, there’s almost zero percent chance to succeed unless you buy a pack, new star soccer was simple and achievable to succeed without having to buy anything. Fix this dumpster fire before you lose fans of your money hungry franchise??

Great game but needs improvement

Avila29

Love the idea of the game but it seems like all my players hate each other and its hard for them to connect during matches! Also development is needed too often! You guys should add manager transfer! Be able to play for different clubs !

One of the best soccer games

Needs improvement but it’s already better than most of these soccer games

Needs improvement

EndChildSlavery

Game crashes a lot during matches and have to reset the game. Also tried to start a match the other day and instead of going to the game screen, it immediately went to the end of match screen and gave me a loss. Need to fix the bugs, otherwise a fun game to play.

I have always been a fan of new star but...

GladiusPrimo

I love literally everything about this game, however three things should be improved. One of them is the free kicks, they are either great scoring opportunities or pointless play resets. What I mean by that is that you can either directly shoot it or you are forced to pass it to someone next to you, there are no real set piece plays in the game. And I think this is due to the next problem. Why can’t you lob the ball? Pls pls add that with the passes just lets select the player and give us an option to hit the ball in a certain way or just two passing options. At least when the player is in a certain position, give the high cross option pls. Finally, the tutorial is kind of sloppy and I don’t feel like it fully introduces the functions of the games. What I mean by that is that there is a lot of managerial goals set by your bosses that I don’t really know how to achieve because the tutorial doesn’t really cover those aspects. For everything else, this game is pure gold.

Thank you.

A Gracious Disciple

I don’t typically review, but I felt compelled to with this game; one which has truly changed my life. While the game mechanics and all are challenging yet rewarding and fun, and the game overall is very well thought out and made, the greatest contributor to the beauty of the game is undoubtedly the decision of the developers to put God Himself on my starter team. Let me offer some context. I’ve played every new star game- countless hours have been spent grinding away at these goddamn games. But to what end? I’m terrible at cricket. Still not sure of the rules or goal. I’m a bit better at new star soccer, but my skills are still admittedly lacking. “Ronal-Darbo”, as I like to call Him, has tenderly grasped my hand like the 28 year old father I never had, and brought me out of the dark cave of despair in which I lingered for so long lacking finesse, and success in my constant and continual endeavors to get something, anything, (please) better than a 6.3 match rating. My Sweet Lord’s football prowess I feel is better demonstrated by His stats than by mine tender musings. 34 appearances into season 2, my Beautiful Bouncing Baby Boy (BBBB for short) has 32 goals and 21 assists. There are entire teams in NATL who have scored fewer goals than He has created. Marcus Darbo, indisputably is also the second coming of Jesus, not having been carded, or committing a even foul in his pious, holy, and wholly honorable endeavor towards teaching me more about life than any religious text ever has. In short, thank you New Star Devs, thank you.

And then to find the only way to replenish energy is to buy packs.

Really fun but needs work

TL;DR: Good gameplay, players never have energy so you can’t train them, also you never make money and can’t buy things I love the gameplay, the way to pass and dribble and shoot is great. However, it’s so easy to win games. In my first full season I am currently 19-1-0, I should not be that good yet if ever. Plus, there are many out of match things that are lacking. Players should gain energy between games and at halftime. If you don’t rest team at least every other game you will have no one that can play. This also makes it impossible to train the players which always makes them upset they aren’t training. This also means my team is never getting better which is a problem. There just needs to be more energy automatically given. Plus, it is soooo hard to make money and I never buy anything because I’m always broke and stuff is expensive. It takes me a whole season to upgrade 1-2 facilities to level 2, buy maybe a player and that’s it. I love the gameplay and overall feel but a lot of managing aspects need rebalancing.

Money hungry

Eviggie

Game would be great if you guys weren’t so money hungry and forcing players to buy energy because you make players dead after one game fix this because its really ruining a game with great potential
