Fun but glitchy

Addicted to the game especially with on site rewards... but the app has been frozen for the last week and there hasn’t been a peep from TNT. I missed my daily login bonuses and on site prizes.

Would be nice if the Random friends were updated more often (I’ve seen 3* level 30s show up as 3* level 10s and 4* Eyries show up as 2*.) Unfortunately, in gameplay the weaker forms are what you get.

Fun, but you hit a wall quickly

I like the concept of spelling to attack and neopets is very nostalgic for me, but this game is more of a grindy gatcha auto-player at heart than a neopets experience. The spelling is reminiscent of a game you’d find in the neopets games room (any other imperial exam fans out there?), and it has a simple but fairly interesting story. it’s fun to try to figure out how to best arrange things on the board to not mess up your chances of success long-term, and it’s satisfying when you spell out long words for huge damage. The first few levels are a blast, but it quickly becomes apparent that there is a LOT of grind involved. I hit the first wall after about 15 levels, and am now spending more time grinding than getting to continue to play and enjoy the story. Optimal play involves leaving your device sitting while the game plays itself, just so you can get to a point where you have enough team members that don’t get one shot by the enemies to make beating the next level possible. All in all I would say it’s just okay. I’m having fun with it, I just don’t think it has sustainability and know it will hit a point where the grind outweighs the fun and i’ll stop playing.

The app is only functional as long as you keep uninstalling/reinstalling on a constant basis.

You have to drag letters into place, the letters get enormous when you click on them but the space you have to move them to is very tiny, and you can’t see where the letter is going with your finger in the way.

I adore neopets, play since I was 14. Unfortunately the game has so many bugs, everyday it restarts! The rewards are always the same, why is this happening? The only reason I didn’t give up on the game is my hope to win prizes on the website

Yes they used some of the pets from neopets, but this is a word game. and they have simply put some of the neopets into the game. As someone who has played neopets from the beginning this is a massive let down. The game itself is fine but it’s not Neopets.

I’ve been playing this game for about a week . I find it fun and it’s also cool because it reminds me of childhood memories. I hope neopets comes back in a big way. I feel like they could do soooo much more. Even with retail. Why not start creating “surprise toys” and with each toy have a code to redeem some type of special reward within a game. Also I hope neopets comes out with an app that was similar to their website with a bunch of mini games etc etc

I’m excited to see Neopets actively making things again. This game is fun and has a very Scrabble meets battle feel. However it doesn’t feel like Neopets to me. I feel like a lot of people, myself included, would absolutely love an app version of the website with all the old games and lore with maybe a few updates.

Sick of this scam. My pet and parters can’t win when the monster can block EVERY shot EVERY time. I have trained and trained and my pet is AWESOME, but as I said...can’t beat a cheating game.
