I really do. Nothing else to it. This game is a virtual graphic novel which takes SOME time to warm up, to end with a pretty disappointing ending. There is a Walking to the Sky expansion which was a nice touch. Just so I can get it out of the way as well, the Walking to the Sky expansion is pretty much a 2 hour expansion of the story. Be warned, I’m gonna quickly SPOIL a little bit of the expansion and story. SPOILER BEGINS HERE. Walking to the Sky is pretty much a 2 hour story expanding on one couple from one chapter of the main story. I personally enjoyed it, but it wasn’t totally needed. SPOILER ENDS HERE. The main story takes a while to warm up and I personally enjoyed it, but there wasn’t totally a climax and I must have accidentally skipped over something because I’m a fast reader, but some parts in the story just came out of nowhere and didn’t add much to the story. I also want to touch on the glitches real quick. There was this one glitch that may have only happened to me and a couple of other people. It pretty much made it so whenever I started up the game a couple of times it said that I didn’t have any data. Like I couldn’t click on the chapter select or anything. It looked like I literally just booted up the game for the first time. All I could do is start a new game or go to the options menu. The only way I could fix this is either by restarting my phone (this method didn’t work all the time either) or go to the options menu and try to delete all my data (of which it said there wasn’t) and then backing out of deleting the data at the last second (this didn’t work all the time either). Since this kept happening and I was on the second to last chapter, I just decided it was best to get through the rest of the story and the Walking to the Sky expansion just because I didn’t want to have to deal with the no data glitch, which kinda took a little of my enjoyment out of the story. That’s pretty much it for my review of the game. I’d say that there are a lot of reviews kinda going against the game, so I’d say download it, try it out, then get rid of it if you don’t like it.

Heads up on Necrobarista
Moojestic_Cookie

If you’re wondering if this is a game worth playing, then you should be aware of its content. The game is a visual novel, a game usually with minimal gameplay but places a focus on story telling and presentation. You will see reviews criticizing the game for being about dialogue. Don’t take that into account because this was never a regular game. If a story telling game that is cinematic does not interest you, do not play this.

Nice music

It’s a good read before bed

Terrible quality
????

The beginning was great. But after the intro I was put into a dark alley. The whole game was glitchy and bad quality will never play again?????

I don’t really like the way they don’t have a animated picture

I am not going to rate this that much!

Support this kid of game for a better future of Arcade
sntjustd

This game is a decent nice game and costs far more on other platforms. But somebody just personally dislikes this type and gave a bad score. I think this would mislead apple to avoid this type in the future. I myself do not want Apple Arcade is just for kids. It should provide more non-childish games like this one if apple wants more market values like steam. People should respect game developers’ work and not give bad scores just because of personal appetite. No offense to anybody. Just want to say words for game lovers.

Crashing Issues
MotivationEgg

The part of the story I’ve been able to play is nice, but the crashing is way too frequent and makes the game unenjoyable. I’d expect more from an Apple Arcade game, at least in terms of playability.

crashing issues - please help!
thebeekeeper2005

I am a solid chunk of the way through this game and loving it, but recently the app has become unusable due to crashing. Every time I reopen it, I can barely make it a few steps outside the room I was last in before the app crashes on me completely. I have tried everything I can think of to remedy this, and nothing has worked. It’s a shame because I’ve been loving the game so far, but it is completely unplayable at this point.

Wonderful experience.

It’s sad that people give this 1 star and such because they don’t understand what kind of game it is. You wouldn’t play a puzzle game and be upset there isn’t enough first person shooting in it, right? This is a visual novel, meaning gameplay elements will be light, and most the focus will be story. The art, emotion, atmosphere are truly special and help to help wrap you in on an engrossing story. Basically if you like visual novels or really just a good story, then you should try this one. I actually already have this on PC but this is a great way to play it instead. Honestly I wish there were more visual novels on iOS like there is in Japan, it’s really the perfect type of game for a cell phone.

Not a game &dialogue/“controls” are maddening
atash1618

The entire dialogue does not flow. You have to keep clicking but not like normal where the scene would flow after a click or even a sentence. You have to click for EVERY. SINGLE. WORD OR TWO. Same with the scene. They move as you’re clicking for words. They actions are SO short, so you always pause for a second bc it feels like it’s going to continue, but it doesn’t. So you have to click again. Literally, they’ll sit down a cup, click, move to turn the coffee on but doesn’t turn it on, click, turns it, click. And the MADDENING part is that you have to click a good FIVE times to actually get it to work. Absolutely awful. The storyline is SO slow. I’m confused as to who have this above a one star. It’s not good story telling, it’s not a game, everything about it is actual garbage fire. Apple Arcade disappoints again.
